LUCY HAD LEFT THE CAR FIRST
Lockwood and Agnes behind, the blonde needed to tell them soon. she'd be leaving for Fittes.

"Lockwood, something's wrong." Lucy called, pulling and pushing on the door.
"it's bolted from the inside." Agnes sighed.

the three entered through the window. Lockwood helping Agnes as she was the last to go through the window.
the sound of glass breaking startled them. Agnes couldn't put the nervousness aside, her parents had come to take her, and take her friend's lives. she was almost sure of it.
"what if it's Blake?" Lucy suggested.

Lockwood picked a lantern and his sword,
Agnes picked the one rapier hidden away by the furniture. it was always good to have an emergency weapon.
"wait." Lucy whispered.

Lockwood opened a gap on the door, just enough for him to see. Agnes sneaked behind him, head on his shoulders as her breath hitched in fear. a hooded figure was going upstairs.

"i'll take him." Lockwood stated closing the doors.
"i'll come with you." Agnes added.

"Agnes-" he tried to stop her.
"no negotiation, Lockwood." he nodded hesitantly.

"Lucy you find George." he ordered before him and Agnes left the room.

Lockwood lit his torch in the face of the black hooded intruder. "can I offer you a cup of tea while you ransack my house? one lump or two." Agnes scoffed at how unserious he was.

he threw the flashlight at the figure, who dodged it in time.
the enemy's sword was unsheathed, with the noise of metal. Agnes accompanied his rapidness, her sword in hand in a defensive stance.
"fine. have it your way." Lockwood did the same.

the  intruder kicked the flashlight, almost hitting Agnes in the process.
"run, Lucy!" Agnes yelped, looking behind her.

Lockwood advanced on the person, Agnes stayed behind protecting Lucy, making sure the girl got out of the way while the duel started.

Agnes went back to the duel, glass was every where and Lockwood tried to recompose himself.
she held her sword in a tight grip, grunting as she tried to stab the intruder in the stomach. he blocked her with his elbow, swinging his sword in her direction but before he could do any damage she put her sword in the direction, blocking him.
both duelers grunted, one trying to attack while the other maintained all their force into blocking that sword.
the intruder in a quick movement was able to slash the girl's wrist, it was deep and blood gushed down the floor. Agnes breathed hard; in shock. she dropped her sword to hold her bleeding wrist.

the intruder's sword was brought down on her, life flashed before her eyes. another sword blocked the intruder's, it was Lockwood "GO FIND LUCE, QUICK!" he screamed in her direction, Agnes obeyed.

she went down the steps of the basement, breathing hard in desperation and fear.
"LUCE." Agnes cried out loud, George and Lucy coming to her rescue. their eyes widened at the amount of blood dripping from her wrists.
