Agnes Berkshire was born with life handed to her in a silver platter, yet she still chose to run away.
Winding up in the city of London, working at an agency run by two boys with no adult supervision; in which she absolutely despises the owner.

AN IRREGULAR TICKING MADE ITS WAY onto both Agnes's and Lockwood's ears. they moved on forward, carefully and quietly. "wait, wait...is that it?" he turned behind.
"no...no that's someone living. we have to turn around, Lockwood." Agnes replied in a shaky breath. "you're right. it sounds mechanical." ignoring the girl's suggestion.
"there's no footsteps. if anyone comes, hide." Lockwood instructed as he walked closer to where the mechanical sound was coming from. a young boy came out of the room, holding a robot toy as he looked towards Lockwood with curiosity. Agnes hid behind a shelf, kneeling down as she prayed Lockwood would get his ass out of this one by himself.
"danger. danger." the robot chuckled before the boy turned it off. Agnes could hear Lockwood's shaky, anxious breaths. "I'm here because I've lost something." Lockwood put his hands on his knees, to be on eye-level with the child. Agnes peeked through the shelves, her breathing controlled but the knot around her throat kept her from blinking.
"...do you think you could help me find it, please? it's a mirror. a very special mirror. it makes a buzzing sound. like a bee." Lockwood chuckled, trying to fool the quiet boy. "have you heard it round here?" the boy subtly nodded, not finding the voice to respond. "do you think you can show me?" Lockwood was interrupted by an additional voice.
"didn't I tell you not to talk to strangers?" a blonde woman walked towards the two, Agnes's heart dropped upon seeing the weapon in the woman's hand. a taser. "ah, you must be—" Lockwood was interrupted by the zapping sound electrifying his chest. the teenager fell down with a grunt. Agnes covered her mouth to not let out a whimper.
"Leopold, go get your father." the mother ordered and the boy obeyed. the blonde woman sighed, grabbing Lockwood by his ankles as she dragged him around the shop.
FUCK FUCK FUCK.
Agnes walked away from the shelves, her mind was one, but the voices screaming inside of it were a million. she could only pay attention to two of them. one was the obscenities echoing in her brain and the other was her task, find Lockwood and find Lockwood unharmed. or else, she'd make sure to ruin the Winkman's business even if it was her last thing to do.
she took quick, careful and silent steps turning around. she thanked her shoe choice for once, a converse with no platform; her only pair of shoes without platforms. Agnes felt a faint buzzing sound of flies in the hall she found herself in. and suddenly her objective changed, find the mirror, find the mirror. she could identify three voices now.
Agnes put her left hand into a compartment, identifying the buzzing sound now getting louder. the girl tried opening the wooden cabinet. no budge no matter how hard she pulled. the non-responding boy appeared in the corner of the hall, he still held his robot toy. Agnes sighed before dropping her gaze.
