If Katniss Loved Peeta (After the Interviews)

We are in the interviews before the Games.

Peeta just told Ceasar that he has a crush on someone. My heart literally broke. Of course is not me. After all who would like a Seam girl? But the thing is I love him and I've had a crush on him since we were 5, on the first day of school.

"Here's what you do, you go in there and win. There's no way she'll reject you after that." Says Ceasar.

'Even if he didn't win, who would say no to him?' I think.

"Win, won't help my case." Says Peeta.

"Why not?!" Asks Ceasar just as surprised as I am.

"Because... because she came he with me." Peeta stutters.

The audience gasps.

Then it sinks. He likes me back!

"Well that's some pice of bad luck." Says Ceasar.

"Yeah." Peeta agrees.

The buzzer sounds.

"Peeta Mellark, ladies and gentlemen!" Says Ceasar and Peeta walks backstage.

I try to get near him and tell him I like him too, but he doesn't make eye contact and gets in the elevator fast.

I take the other elevator and press the button with a #12 on it.

My elevator reaches the 12th floor few seconds after Peeta's.

I run up to him, I push him against the wall and kiss him full on the lips.

He's surprised at first but then starts to kiss me back.

I stop for a second.

"I love you too." I whisper in his ear.

He then turns us around and pushes me lightly against the wall.

"You have no idea how long I've been waiting for you to say that." He says.

"Believe me, I know." I reply. And with that his lips are back on mine.

We keep kissing passionately and somehow we end up in his room.

Next thing I know, clothes are flying and we end up naked in his bed kissing.

He stops.

"Are you sure about this?" He asks.

"Yes." I say truthfully. I mean I've been waiting for this for a long time.

The rest of the night is a blur of passion, love and pleasure.
