Kimi, being back home in Finland, just wanted to be left alone.

He had no job, he had given up his career as a race car driver.

His iPhone ringing caused him to grumble and growl.

"WHAT??" He snarled into the phone.

"Did you hear the news, Kimi?" Came Seb's solemn voice.

"I don't care, Seb! I just don't care!" Kimi snarled.

"Prost was offered your seat at Ferrari, and he took it without even telling Shantelle," Seb continued.

"Vettel, I told you I don't care!" Kimi snarled.

"Don't you see Kimi?" Seb persisted, not getting Kimi's hint to drop the subject. "He'll let it go all to his head and if he goes on this amazing winning streak those Italian twits will put him up on a pedestal and he will neglect his wife! Make. Your. Move Räikkönen! Get in close to Shantelle and when it all falls to bits you will be there for her, and we'll see a happy Iceman for once!"

Kim ended the call abruptly sat for a moment and then got up and headed into his bedroom.

Packing a bag quickly he also made a call to his doctor.

"How do I become free of my allergic reactions to horses?" He asked.

The plane landed in Darwin and Kimi knew he had to get used to the sweltering heat of the Australian Outback.

"Kimi?" Came a familiar voice "it's me, Nathan, Nathan Stuart, remember me?"

The Finn put his Akubra on his head; the very one Mia gave him and smiled at the man that had saved his life a few months ago.

"How could I ever forget you, Nathan? You saved my life!" offering his hand to the Aussie doctor.

"Well it was a pleasure, out here in the Outback we do what we can for our Mates, whether they're from the ice or highly allergic to horses!" Nathan said.

"Talk about being highly allergic, is there any way you could you know treat me and make my allergy less life-threatening?" Kimi asked

Nathan smiled "Enzyme Potentiated Desensitisation or EPD for short..."

Kimi was lost after the word 'Enzyme'.

Nathan laughed and said, "come on, I'll take you to the Darwin Hospital and we'll explain it to you!"

Kimi sat and listened to Nathan and the doctors at the Hospital.

"Enzyme Potentiated Desensitisation (EPD) is a vaccine that can be used to desensitise patients to both foods, inhalants and chemicals. It has some bacterial antigens. The vaccine has been developed and refined by Dr Len McEwen over the past thirty years. It is supplied to the doctor who mixes the appropriate dose in a sterile environment, immediately prior to dosing, Kimi" Nathan explained, "so you'll get injected three times a day for the first month, then once a week for the next six months and then once a month for a period that lasts five years."

Kim choked on his water "Five goddamn years?" He snarled, in disbelief.

Nathan gave him a look and readied the very first injection.

"You're highly allergic to horses Mr Räikkönen; consider yourself lucky for a decade ago you would have had injections for the rest of your life!" The head doctor said.

"Come on Iceman!" Nathan egged him on "you were a racecar driver!"

"Now here is the paperwork for you to sign to give us permission to carry out the course in full, Dr Stuart here can give you your injections, tell me why do you want to become un allergic to horses?" The head doctor said.
