Sacha threw the tennis ball as far as he could.
"Go long Pharaoh!" he called happily and the big hairy dog went flying after his favourite ball.
They were playing in the green open area of the Toowong Cemetery, their picnic lunch sat on the table in one of the huts.
Shantelle was busy examining three graves that needed to be restored by request of the City Council, one was the grave of a banker and his wife, which stood an impressive two storeys and consisted of $750,000 worth of Sandstone.
Pharaoh had since become bored and began to sniff her out, leaving Sacha alone with just a slobbered on tennis ball.
"That dog of yours has such a strong personality Shantelle! He loves everyone who gives him attention, but you can tell he is truly loyal to you and only you!" Sacha said finally climbing the hill to reach the Ralston Monument.
She smiled and measured the thickness of one of the columns that needed to be replaced, it had a massive crack through it and if it broke the massive elaborate, sandstone roof would collapse onto the whole monument destroying it completely.
"Holy Mother of God!" Sacha breathed, amazed at the monument.
Shantelle smiled "stunning isn't it, my Sach?" She asked.
He smiled at her not answering.
"No reply?" She asked.
Then she caught him smiling at her "Shantelle Alissa Prost" He said, "it still has a good ring to it!"
"I am NOT going back to Nicolas, Sacha!" She growled.
He smiled at her "I didn't say Mrs Nicolas Prost did I? Now, Mrs Sacha Prost sounds....perfect!"
"Sacha, I love you as a friend and a brother, not the man I want to marry and have my children with!" She told him.
He nodded "I'm your brother, not your lover..."

A Month Later
"Why don't you stop being so stupid and stubborn and call her you, coward!" Kimi told himself, his phone in his hand as he stood in the doorway to his Quarters.
He missed his Kulta more than anything.
"You know Icey, you can either sit and mope about Shantelle or you can move on and find a nice Jillaroo?" Shane said to his head Stockman "Come on Mate! You're failing in your duties as the Head Stockman! This is destroying you, Mate!"
"I'm fine Shane!" Kimi said.
"What about Delphine?" Shane suggested, knowing all too well that Kimi wasn't 'fine' "that French beauty is sweet, caring, loving and you'd already have a family because she's got little Angeline."
Kimi shook his head "Dedeline is sweet and beautiful, yes but she's not my Kulta!"
"Well stop being a sook and call her otherwise!" Shane threatened.
"Okay, Shane! I get it! I will!" Kimi growled back.
As Shane walked away he muttered to himself "Icey, you stupid idiot! You won't call her!"

Brisbane
"I'm taking you to the movies, Shantelle!" Sacha told her as she lay on her bed reading.
He was now living with her but lived downstairs.
He helped with the daily house duties, the washing up and the cooking; he cleaned the pool and spa, mowed the lawns, and trimmed the trees and hedges, but stayed away from Shantelle's glasshouse which housed her stunning orchids.
