Nicolas smiled as he watched his bride standing out on their private balcony watching the ever-so-busy city of New York fly by, they had a view of the Empire State building and the Statue of Liberty.
They were staying at Radisson Martinique on Broadway, one of the best and one of Jim's personal favourites.
"We should go down to Broadway tonight and see a show, Mon amour!" He said, enjoying a glass of champagne as he stood in the doorway.
She smiled at him "You know what I want to see Mr Prost!"
He smiled back and asked "The Lion King?"
She winked at him and blew him a kiss.
He grinned and pulled his phone out of his pocket "Your wish is my command, Mrs Prost!"
As he headed back inside to book the tickets she called playfully "Aren't you a good hubby?!"
She was watching the world pass by, a few sheets of paper sat on the glass table in front of her, their itinerary when Nicolas had come up to her and gently pressed a kiss to her forehead, then he pressed a kiss to her lips and soon she deepened the kiss.
He pulled away, breathless "Do you want to make out or get out and see the City tonight?"
She gently kissed his neck, knowing it would drive him crazy "We have the rest of our lives to 'make out' my Nicolas, how about we have a shower together and get ready?"
He looked at her with lust burning in his eyes and growled sexily "Mrs Prost....you MINX!"
Their accommodation was close to Broadway, so they casually walked down to the Minskoff Theatre.
"This city is nothing like home!" Nicolas said, feeling a tad bit homesick.
"We live in Paris Nicolas, we will be in New York City for just a week, enjoy it!" Shantelle agreed."Yes, it's nothing like Brisbane but it's our Honeymoon!"
"I'm sorry Shantelle, Mon amour..." he said suddenly as they waited for the WALK sign to light up so they could cross a busy street, the Theatre being a couple of blocks away.
She looked at him "What on earth for Nicolas?"
"I just took you from your home, from Australia and made you move to Paris, you must miss it mustn't you?" He said, reality hitting him hard for once.
She smiled sympathetically at him, gently kissing his lips she said tenderly "Nicolas Jean Prost, if I didn't love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you, do you think I would have moved to Paris?"
He smiled and kissed her as the traffic lights changed, "Hey move it or lose it!" A New Yorker snarled as she was trying to get past and cross the street.
"Je m'excuse Mademoiselle, je suis français et je suis né et j'ai grandi à Saint-Chamond, dans la vallée de la Loire! Paris n'est rien comparé à New York ..." Nicolas said, in his charming and suave accent.
The foul-tempered lady soon softened "Oh, my god, that is the most romantic accent I have ever heard, pardon me for being so rude, you're French right? Do...you...speak...English?"
Nicolas smiled and said "Yes, miss I do speak fluent English as does everybody in my family, my name's Nicolas but people call me Nico, this is my wife Shantelle, she's Australian."
The woman looked surprised "so you're both from out of town, what brings you to the Big Apple? Holidaying?" She asked, "I'm Candy by the way, and I'm sorry for being so rude before, this city will drive you crazy!"
Nicolas smiled his arm around his wife's waist "We're actually on our Honeymoon, a week here, a week in Vegas and finally a week in L.A!"
Candy looked surprised "well congratulations! I hope you enjoy your first holiday together as a married couple here in the U. S of A!"
