The Professor Steps In

Alain paced back and forth in Shantelle's room, she was currently sleeping.

Sacha soon came into the room after flying in from Paris as soon as he heard the news, tears were streaming down his cheeks.

"Dad, is she okay?" He sobbed.

"The baby is gone, Sacha..." Alain said upset "my first grandchild, was gone before he or she even got a chance to experience life and I don't know how I am going to help Shantelle get through this. I want her to get a divorce and I want her as far away from your brother as possible!"

An idea came to Sacha's mind, "What if I know the man that will look after her and love her and always make her happy, Dad?"

Alain gave Sacha his attention "What? You?" He asked.

Sacha smiled and said "no not me... Kimi, Kimi Räikkönen, Dad"

"No one knows where Kimi is Sacha!" Alain argued, "If I knew where that Finn was I'd bring him to Shantelle myself by his ears!"

"Let me find him Dad!" Sacha told the Professor.

"I can guarantee you probably won't Sacha" Alain continued to argue.

"DAD! Come on, have a little faith in me!" Sacha said, finding his voice.

"Where's my wife?" Came Nicolas' voice from down the hall "What room is she in?"

"Mon Dieu!" Alain cursed "I don't want him to even be near her Sacha!"

The Ferrari pilot soon came into the room, his racing overalls tied at his waist, his Ferrari t-shirt still covered in the sweet champagne he sprayed on the podium, however when he saw his Shantelle sleeping in the hospital bed, her breathing all shaky and the tears were still wet on her face, he felt so guilty.

"What happened?" He asked his Father.

"She miscarried you selfish pig! That's what happened!" Alain snarled.

"This is all my fault isn't it?" Nico asked.

"You bet it fucking is! You prick!" Sacha snarled.

The Ferrari pilot looked at his Father to pull his little brother back into line but the Professor said nothing.

"What's with you all? You're acting as if I am the bad guy!!" Nicolas snarled.

A nurse has come into the room

"What is going on in here?" she snarled "This poor woman has just lost her baby and nearly her life! Now all of you GET OUT! Especially YOU!" Pointing at Nicolas.

The Stockmen watched as the young woman from the Outback Magazine came to greet Kimi, her cameraman in tow.

To promote Australian cattle stations Kimi was going to be in the cover story for the latest issue which would be sold Australia-wide.

They tried to hide their howls of laughter as she stood in some cow manure.

"She won't know what hit her when she interviews Icey!" Dan said, laughing.

Using Oddie and Senna they managed to get some brilliant shots of Kimi up in the saddle.

"Great Kimi!" Sharla said "Now how about with your Akubra off, sunglasses on and look out towards the horizon as if you are watching over the cattle? And can you make Senna run that way?" Pointing towards the way to the main cattle run.

Kimi nodded, took off his trusty Akubra, and whistled loudly, causing Sharla to block her ears.

"Senna" He commanded, whistling and the dog began running.
