Pre Wedding Plans

Kimi woke, to find Shantelle already out of bed.

"Kulta?" He questioned sitting up and looking around her luxurious bedroom.

Shantelle soon came into the bedroom; she was rubbing cream into her hands.

Her favourite robe covered her massive tummy.

She was still in her pyjamas.

"Good Morning my Iceman!" She said happily "there's love in the air you know!?"

He smiled and watched her go about her morning routine, "You and I are in love, that's no surprise Kulta" Senna slept on the floor at the foot of the large bed.

He and Pharaoh hadn't bonded really well when they were introduced, the day before.

So the St Bernard was forced to sleep downstairs with Sacha and Delphine.

"Why do you say that there is love in the air Kulta?" Kimi asked, getting out of bed. "And do you know how GOOD it feels not having to get up at two in the morning!?"

"Sach and Dedeline!" She said excitedly "I'm pretty sure they're together!"

He smiled "Little Angeline will have a Daddy at last!"

Shantelle had come over to him to kiss him on the lips.

"We have a busy day ahead, Kimi...We have a wedding to arrange that will take place in two weeks' time!"

"What do we need to arrange?" He asked, getting dressed.

She gave him a look "EVERYTHING! Are you happy to get married here in Brissy?"
"Well you're in no position to fly so I will have to be, when should my family and the Prosts fly in?" He answered.

"As soon as possible Kimi, they can help with the planning and arranging, you don't realise just how much there is to do! The venues, the flowers, the dresses, the suits, the jewellery, the cake, the food, the table decorations and settings, the seating arrangements, the music, the bridal party, the minister, the service, the wedding rings, the verses, the speakers, the photographer, the invitations which we won't get out in time...oh Kimi! What are we to do??" Shantelle said getting flustered.

Sacha and Delphine had come upstairs, Pharaoh followed close behind Sacha looking for Senna who was still snoozing on the warm rug at the foot of the bed.

Suddenly the massive dog rushed at the Cattle Dog and pounced, pinning him down, and with a savage snarl and a few barks, he told Senna who was the 'alpha' dog in the household.

Sacha watched with his breath held as he kept Delphine behind him, he knew Pharaoh like the back of his hand but he didn't know Senna as well.

Finally, the two dogs sniffed each other and soon settled down together.

"See, now why can't humans get along like that?" Alain said from the bedroom door, with a smile on his face.

Shantelle hugged him as soon as she got over to him; he was looking rugged and old but was happy to be in Brisbane.

"It would be nice wouldn't it, Professor?" She asked lovingly. "You look worn out!"

"Well, it wasn't the smoothest flight, so much turbulence Shantelle!" Anne Marie said, looking tired.

Even Victoria was looking jet-lagged and nauseated.

Sacha had gone to hug and kiss his Mother and his Father, and then he playfully smooched his little Sister.

Alain had gone over to Kimi to shake his hand while Anne Marie greeted Delphine.

"How's little Angeline?" She asked.
