Distraction

Maeve's pov:

I walked to mine and Luke's chamber. I saw him staring at a book so I approached him. "Luke?" I brought the attention to myself. He looked up and smirked up at me.

"Hey Mae" he closed the book. I smiled at him and sat next to him. He raised an eyebrow at me. I thought for a few minutes before deciding on a good distraction.

"I have a suprise" I blurted out nervously. Luke narrowed his eyebrows and seemed worried, an odd expression I haven't seen on him since before the Titan War. "I'm pregnant" I mumbled out. Luke's face was full of shock.

I didn't lie. I was pregnant with Luke's baby. I was happy about it, I was more nervous about what will happen to it when the gods come back. I'd rather not raise kids while in tartarus.

It was my turn to be shocked when my husband hugged me gently and actually fucking sobbed...from HAPPINESS?! Luke was showing emotions after years and it's to something like this?! Dam.

I hugged him back and hoped this would keep him occupied for a few more hours. I had to hope that he would be willing to talk or maybe attempt to throw a party so he wouldn't leave.

And my prayers were answered. Me and Luke were planning a bunch of stuff for hours. Stuff as names, a room, gender etc.

I knew the 'gods rescue squad' still wasn't back so I decided to pop the baby out and I was met with a...small....suprise. We ended up with twins. A girl, Nicolette, and a boy, Aiden.

Nicolette, Nicole for short, had light brown hair and blue eyes. Aiden had light brother hair and blue eyes.

The distraction went well and I knew the squad was back along side the annoying gods.
