Day 7: Sunday

---

"You've invited Tyler?", Meredith questioned Mark. They were having another party, enjoying their freedom of being able to party all the time if they wanted to. "Why would you do that?", she almost yelled at him.

"Half the party is happening outside, and I made him promise that he would stay out of the cabin.", her friend exclaimed. "We can watch him closely.", he added, when suddenly they heard Amelia scream.

"OWEN, NO!", she shouted and tried to get her boyfriend off Tyler, who he was mercilessly hitting in the face with his fists. "YOU'RE KILLING HIM!", she yelled and sobbed. Together with Jackson, Derek managed to get the angry redhead off the other teenager.

"What the hell were you thinking?!", Callie scolded Owen as she pushed him into the cabin to get him cleaned up while Lexie, April and Andrew tended to the bleeding Tyler. Amelia was standing there in shock.

"Come here, Amy.", Derek whispered as he wrapped his arms around his sister's shaking body. "Party's over everyone.", he stated to Mark's friends and the others. "Find something else to do this evening."

"I never expected him to be so violent.", his little sister mumbled into him. "He just started punching Tyler without even thinking.", she cried. "I know he wanted to protect me, but...he just snapped into being extremely aggressive."

"You know he wouldn't ever hurt you, right?", her brother reminded her softly, feeling her nod into him. "It scared you and that's okay. But he didn't mean to do that. Give him a chance and let him explain later. Until then, feel free to crash in mine and Meredith's bed tonight, if you want to."

"Thanks, I might take you up on that.", Amelia answered before she walked into the cabin to find Owen and Callie. They were in one of the bathrooms, so she knocked and quietly walked in, causing her female friend to give the couple some space.

"His fist is not broken, but he should cool it tonight.", Callie informed the brunette. "I'll leave you two alone now. Just yell if you need something.", she added before she finally left the room. Amelia remained at the closed door and just stared at her boyfriend.

"Please come here, Honey.", Owen told her and noticed she wasn't moving. "Wait...", he mumbled when it suddenly hit him. "Are you afraid of me?", he wanted to know in disbelief, frowning at her.

"Is that really so surprising?", his girlfriend questioned kind of sarcastically. "You went full berserk on him. He didn't even talk to me this time and you just...why, Owen? Why would you do something like that?"

"Because he is dangerous, and you and I both know it. Maybe he didn't speak to you yet, but he would have tried to get into your pants again, by using drugs if necessary.", the redhead argued in despair. "Are you really siding with Tyler?"

"This is not about whose side I am choosing, the fight already happened in case you don't remember. This is me being scared of how violent my boyfriend, the person I love, can become in the span of two seconds.", Amelia scolded him.

"Amelia...", her boyfriend started, but couldn't finish his sentence, because it disappointed him so much that she was actually afraid of him. "I would never hurt you.", he promised. "I wouldn't hurt anybody if they weren't posing a threat for one of my loved ones. You know me. You know that!"

"Right now, I feel like I know nothing about you. I don't know you enough to be sure that next time you feel like punching somebody it won't be me.", the brunette disagreed harshly. "You always seemed like this calm, reasonable and kind person. There was no reason for you to just hit Tyler."

"Yes. Yes, there was, and I already told you why I did it.", Owen explained. "And I don't feel guilty if that's what you're trying to get me to say. Because he wouldn't have backed off you and he would have made you take drugs."

"Because I am not stable. Is that what you're saying?", his girlfriend questioned and huffed. He didn't answer her. "Right. Stupid unstable Amelia...always getting in trouble without her heroic boyfriend watching her.", she ironically said.

"This is not what I meant, and you know that too. Stop twisting my words.", the redhead begged. "He got you to smoke once and you almost took oxy last time you saw him, of course I was worried."

"That is not how somebody worries. You could have asked me to stay away from him, but you wanted to solve the problem by yourself. A problem that wasn't there yet.", Amelia reminded him angrily.

"What's so wrong about being precautious?", her boyfriend wondered, growing madder as well. He wasn't dumb and he knew he should have handled the situation differently, but the way Amelia didn't even take a second to consider his point of view caused him to become unreasonable.

"Two words: Hitting someone.", the brunette hissed and shook her head in defeat. "Take the night and think clearly about what you did and if you still believe violence was the answer. I'll crash in Derek and Meredith's room. Don't move your hand too much. Good night, Owen.", she said her goodbye, tired of continuing this fight with her boyfriend, who was so sure about having done the right thing that she didn't want to keep this conversation going.
