"I told you, you need to rest!"
"And I told you I'm fine!"
Para kaming nagpapatintero sa harap ng infirmary ng bugok na ito. He keeps on insisting that I need to rest! Wala namang mali sa katawan ko and I feel good naman and I need to go back to the other kids. Malamang eh hinahanap na nila ako.
"What if bumalik yung taong yun and do something bad to you?! He's armed and dangerous!"
"Look Stephan, he will not comeback lalo na at hindi lang ako ang nakakita sa kanya. At isa pa, the school's security is too tight kaya hindi---."
"Tight? But he still got to enter the campus and tried to harm one of its teacher?"
Napabuntong hininga ako. Wala kaming patutunguhan kung magtatalo lang kami dito.
I grab his arm and pulled him for a run.
"Wait, where are you taking me?!"
"We need to hurry, your classmates are waiting for us."
Kinaladkad ko siya pabalik sa school field kung saan kasalukuyang nagaganap ang band competition. Agad hinanap ng mata ko ang mga bugok and I can't see them! There are too many people!
"I can't find them!" Inis kong sabi habang pilit tinatanaw ang crowd.
Pumunta kami kung saan ang pwesto namin kanina pero wala sila doon.
"Where are they?!" Inis kong tanong sa sarili.
"Are you even using your eyes?" Stephan sarcastically asked.
"Nang-iinis kaba?! Malamang!"
"Tss."
He pulled me towards him at nagulat na naman ako. He grab my shoulders and face me towards the stage. I didn't realize what he wants me to do not until I saw who's standing on the stage.
"Let us all welcome the last performers for today's band competition, Class 4D!"
The crowd went crazy as the music echoed all throughout the campus.

Malawak ang ngiti ko habang pinagmamasdan sina Uno at Dos. I wave at them and they finally saw me. For the second time, they are standing on stage starting to build up their dream.

This is not the first time I heard them singing but this is the first time their voices touches my heart.
I saw the other bugoks standing right next the stage supporting their classmates. Mga nakangiti sila at sumasabay pa sa pagkanta.

Stephan's hands are still holding my shoulders and I could feel them tighten a bit. Hindi ko mapigilang lingunin siya.
He's not smiling but I can see that little light of fire igniting on his eyes. This might not be the first time he saw them on stage but I know that this is his first time seeing his friends having fun.
Hindi ko tuloy maiwasang macurious sa totoong nararamdaman ng taong ito. For me, he is a mystery that no one could ever solve. Will I ever have the chance to know him?
Nagulat ako nang magbaba siya ng tingin sakin. This is not the first time we stared at each other but his staring at me right now as if he's trying to drown me.
Bago paman ako tuluyang malunod ay nag-iwas na ako ng tingin. I went back on watching the band as their first song come to an end.

"Ang galing nyo Class 4D!"

The crowd once again went wild and asking for more.

Stephan grab me by the arm as we cross the waves of crowd. I just found myself standing right next with other bugoks.
"Miss! Bakit ngayon ka lang?!"
"Don't tell me hindi mo nakita ang performance nina Uno?!"
Salubong nila sakin.
"No, I saw it from the start. We just can't get here because there are a lot of people." I explained.
"Oh, nandito ka rin pala." Leo said to Stephan. The latter just nod.
"You want more?!" Uno and Dos shouted and made the crowd gone wild.
"MORE! MORE! MORE!"
"Our next song is dedicated to someone we know. Actually we're not supposed to be standing here in front of you, but because of her it became possible for us to perform. We ended our dreams years ago but she made us dream again. Ngayon lang namin to sasabihin sa harap ng lahat. We're glad to meet her and have her as our teacher."
The twin and even the other member of our band lay their eyes on me as they start their second song.
I put my hands on my chest and let my heart filled with emotions coming from their song.
