Chapter 22

Pedri and i sat on the bench when i was taking pictures. I was focusing on my camera, until i suddenly felt a poke.
I turned my head to Pedri.

"What?"
I asked him.

"I'm bored." He sighed.

"Well what do you want to do than?"
I asked him while putting my camera away.

"I don't know, you were the one saying that was gonna keep me company."
Pedri said and crossed his arms.
I stood up from the bench and walked to Xavi.
I left Pedri with a confused face.

"Xavi can i ask you something?"
I asked Xavi.
He turned around when he heard my voice.

"Yeah sure what is it?"

"Well, i've not much to do and Pedri is irritating me because he's bored. So i was curious if we can leave already? Pedri is acting like a little kid."
I said laughing.
Xavi laughed when he listened to what i said.

"Sure, i know how Pedri can be. Have fun."
Xavi smiled.

"Thankyou Xavi."
I thanked him and walked back to Pedri.
Pedri still sat in the same position as 5 minutes ago, confused why he i suddenly left.

"We're done for today, are you coming?"
I asked and took my stuff.

"Wait, was it okay for Xavi?"
Pedri said confused.

"Yeah, don't worry about that."
I told him.

"Well let's go than."
Pedri said while trying to stand up on his own.
I saw he was struggling, so i took his hands to help him get up.

"Thankyou."
Pedri said smiling.

"Don't thank me, it's basically my job now. So are you coming grandpa?"
I said laughing when i let go of his hands.

"Very funny."
Pedri said sarcastically.
I smiled with confidence.

"I know."
I said proud.
Pedri took his keys, and walked with me to his car.
When we arrived at his car, i took my chance to grab the keys out of his hands.

"No way i'm not gonna let you drive my beauty."
Pedri said while trying to grab the keys back.
Unfortunately for him, i stepped in the car and closed the door before he could take the keys away from me.
Pedri shook his head in disbelief and walked to the door from the passenger seat.
He stepped in and closed the door.

"You are unbelievable."
He told me.
Instead answering, i just smiled proudly.

After 10 minutes, we arrived at his house.
I wanted to help him get out of the car, but he refused. Fine, if he wanted it to do it in the hard way. His decision.

After 5 minutes trying to getting out of the car, he finally succeeded.

"That took long enough grandpa."
I said laughing walking with him to his door.
We got in and closed the door behind us.

"Make yourself comfortable, i'm gonna put my bag away really quick."
He said while walking to his room.
I settled myself on the couch, and waited for him.
I heard his footsteps behind me, 10 seconds later he sat next to me on the couch.

"So what would you like to do?"
I asked him.

"Maybe we can watch a movie?"
He offered.

"Yeah sure."

"Which movie?"
He asked me.
I shrugged my shoulders.

"Doesn't matter for me, you can choose one that you like."
I told him.
Pedri scrolled trough Netflix to choose a movie.
He clicked on the one he wanted.
Shit. The only thing i was scared off.
Horror.
But i wasn't gonna admit it that i'm afraid of horror, absolutely not.
The movie started, i putted my legs and feet on the couch so i was comfortable.

Everything was going good, until there was a jumpscare i didn't expected.
I jumped a bit and putted my hand on Pedri's leg out of reflex.
When i realized i had my hand on Pedri's leg, i immediately took it off out of shame.
I layed my hand beside my leg on the side were Pedri sat.
I tried to focus on the movie again, until i felt a hand on mine.
I looked at our hands and then at Pedri. He kept watching the movie.

"It's okay, just try to focus on the movie."
Pedri said with a comforting voice.
I couldn't help but smile a bit when i felt his soft hand on mine.
He caught me off guard with that move but to be honest, i didn't mind. It felt comfortable.

We kept watching the movie in silence. Not a akward silence, but a comfortable silence.
When the movie ended, we turned off the TV.

I yawned tired.

"Tired?"
Pedri said and looked at me.

"Yeah very much actually."
I said while almost closing my eyes.

"You can sleep here if you want."
He said.

"No i don't want to bother you."

"I mean it it's no problem, you can take my bed i'll sleep on the couch."
Pedri offered me.

"Okay fine, but don't come at me if your back pain is only getting worse by sleeping on the couch."
He laughed.

"Don't worry, you won't hear me."
He said laughing.

"Do you have some blankets?"
I asked him.

"Yeah there."
He pointed at the blankets.
I stood up and took some blankets with me back to the couch.

"Lay down."
I said.
He frowned his eyebrows.

"What? Am i speaking Chinese or something? Come on lay down i'm the one that has to take care of you, not you for me."
I said holding the blankets.

"Fine than."
He said while settling himself on the couch.
Once he lay down i putted the blankets on him, to make sure he wouldn't get cold.

"Goodnight Pedri."
I wanted to walk away to go find his bedroom.
I stopped when i felt his hand taking my wrist and pulling me back to him.

"Thankyou."
He said with a soft voice while slowly rubbing his fingers on my hand.
I couldn't stop myself from smiling when i saw his little smile.

"Your welcome."
I told him.
He let go of my hand, so i could go to sleep to.
As i went upstairs, i looked at the couch one last time.
He was already at sleep.
A smile on my face appeared when i saw him peacefully sleeping like a baby.
I turned around and walked to his bedroom.
When i found his bedroom, i made sure to text Isa first to let her know i'm staying here for the night.
When i did that, i let myself fall on the bed.
I still had my clothes on from today, but i didn't care.
After 5 minutes i already fell asleep.
Thinking, about how i ended up in Pedri's bed.
