Chapter 23

I woke up when i heard noises downstairs.
I step out of Pedri's bed with a tired face, even tho i slept like a little baby. I don't understand how he still can be so grumpy, when his bed is literally a heaven to sleep in.
I walked downstairs, and saw Pedri cooking in the kitchen.
He stood with back towards me.
It seemed like he didn't heard me coming downstairs, so i decided to give him a little surprise.
I walked as silent as i could to him, to make sure he didn't noticed me.
I putted my hands suddenly on his shoulders and screamed in his ear.
By the way he jumped and turned around with a fear on his face, i could notice it worked.
When he saw that it was me, he calmed down again.
When i putted my hands on his shoulders, i was leaning a bit,which caused me to fall forward. My hands fell on his shoulders again to keep myself steady. When he saw me falling forward, Pedri putted his hands on my waist.
I looked from the ground to his face, only to see he was already looking at me.
He was looking into my eyes, while we stood just a few inches from each other.
We kept standing like this for a few seconds until i realized that his hands were still on my waist, and my hands on his shoulders.
I pulled back, leaving some space between us again.

"You shouldn't scare me like that anymore, this is what you get."
He said laughing.

"It was it 100% worth, you had to see your face."
I said bursting out laughing.

""Hey hey calm down, or i'll let you starve and eating my delicious food on my own."
Pedri said proudly of his food.

"What we're you making?"
I laughed.

"Some eggs with bacon. I know you like it."
He said while continuing with making the eggs.

"Hell yeah."
I said with a big smile.

"You can already sit down at the table, the food is almost ready."
He said while grabbing two plates.
I sat down at the table, when Pedri came to me with 2 delicious plates full of eggs and bacon.

"Here you go."
He shove the plate to me.

"Thankyou, i'm starving."
I said while starting to eat.
I didn't hear him answering me, so i looked from my plate to him.
He just sat there, smiling and watching while i eat.
I laughed.

"What?"
I asked with my mouth full.

"Nothing."
He shook his head and laughed a bit.
He looked at his plate and started to eat.
I just shook it off and continued eating.

After we were done, i helped him with the dishes and stood up to leave.

"Thankyou for the delicious meal, but could you bring me home cause you know, yesterday i drove with you so i don't have my own car."
I asked.

"Yeah well about that,..."
Pedri said a bit nervously.

"I was thinking, maybe you could stay here for two weeks? Just for those two weeks because i think it's pretty annoying for you to drive back and forth all the time. And i don't like being alone, you could sleep in my bed and i will sleep on the couch. But only if you want ofcourse."
He said in one breath.
It took me some minutes to process what he just said.
Did he really just offered me to live with him for 2 weeks?

"Pedri it's a nice offer but i don't know i mean, i don't want you to sleep on the couch just so i can sleep in your bed."
I said grabbing my neck.

"No no listen it's okay, if you don't want that i even could just get a second bed were i can sleep in."

"Look it's very nice but you don't have to buy a second bed just for me."
I said with a laugh.

"You really think i can't afford that?"
He asked with raised eyebrows.

"Okay fine, but i'm going to have discuss it with Isa first. I don't want her to be alone if she doesn't want it."

"Okay yeah sure, no problem."
He said with a smile.

"Your still so stubborn as years ago, if you want something, you'll get it no matter what."
I laughed.

"Exactly."

"Well, are you gonna bring me home or what? I can't discuss it with Isa if you don't bring me home you know."
I told him laughing.

"Yeah sure let's go."
He said, and grabbed the keys.

We walked outside, and Pedri locked the door.

"Do i have to drive? I'm not gonna let you drive with pain in your back."
I said already grabbing the keys out of his hand.

"Well seems like i don't have another choice, do i?"
He laughed.

"Nope."
I said proudly, knowing i get to drive his mini again. I've always loved those cars.

I stepped in at the drivers seat, and Pedri at the passenger's seat.
I started the car and started driving.

"Turn on some music, otherwise it's boring."
I said to Pedri.
He listened to me, and turned the music on.
Suddenly i heard a song start playing, that i hated the most.
Gavi's song, "Don't matter."
I sighed when i heard it.

"Oh no please put on another song, i hate that song."
I told him.

"Ow yeah my bad, i hate it to but Gavi always want listen to this."
He laughed.

"Typical Gavi."
I said laughing, concentrating on the road.

The whole ride we listened to Artic Monkeys, until we arrived at my house.
I stopped the car, and stepped out.
Pedri stepped out to, walking me to the door.
When we were at my door, i stopped and turned around to face Pedri.

"Once again, thankyou for the eggs and bacon, it was delicious."
I told him.
A smile appeared on his face.

"Not better than my mom's croquettes."
Pedri said with a small laugh.

"Yeah that's true."

"Well, i see you later i'll let you know something if Isa is okay with it or not."
I said while unlocking the door.

"Great, see you later."
He said with a smile on his face, showing his little dimples.
I stepped into my house, and waved at him when he was walking back to his car.

When the door closed, i sighed.
How the hell was i gonna tell my bestfriend i'm gonna move in with Pedri for two weeks?
