Chapter 33

Why was i still denying it?

"Pedri look i'm serious right now, please let us talk at a proper way first."
I got away from him.
I sat myself at the couch, and Pedri copied.

"I know your mad about this morning Pedri. When i stepped away from you. I did it because i wanted to talk first about this, i don't want to get into something we didn't discuss yet."
I tried to explain myself the best i could.
Pedri listened closely to every word i said.

"I understand, but does that means you—"
I cut him off.
I never thought i was gonna say this, but here i am.

"I already know what you were gonna say, and yes. Yes, i feel the same."
I confessed.
When i looked at him, i saw the spark coming back in his eyes.
And god, you can't imagine how happy i was when i saw it.

His eyes moved from my eyes to my lips, slowly coming closer with his body.
I couldn't help myself.
I accepted it and let my eyes going down from his eyes to his lips.

Fuck it.

I connected my lips with his, placing my arms around his neck.
His hands moved to my waist, holding me close to him.
I felt his lips on mine, forming a smile.
First it was a slow kiss, but it started getting with more desire.
He pushed me, laying on my back.
At this point he was above me with his whole body, only a few inches between us.
At the moment he wanted to take his chance, we got interrupted by the door bell.

"Are you fucking serious, nobody ever needs me but when i'm busy they always suddenly here."
He got up irritated.
I laughed a bit because of his reaction.
Its funny to see him a bit 'angry', it doesn't happen that often. Mostly is Pedri the one to calm Gavi down on the pitch.
Pedri opened the door and seemed kind of surprised.

"Ah euhm Fer, what do you need?"
Pedri nervously grabbed his neck.
Shit. His brother.

Without hesitating, i quickly got up from the couch.
I walked to the kitchen pretending i was doing something, incase Fer came in.
I was right when i heard footsteps coming in.

"Lucia! long time no see, how are you?"
Fer hugged me.
Your probably asking yourself if i already knew Fer, and the answer to that is yes.
Most of the time when Pedri and me were together, it was at their house or my house. So ofcourse i knew him, he always saw me as his little sister.
When we used to go play outside, Fer was going with us to protect us.
Even tho it wasn't really necessary, he still wanted to go with us.

"I'm doing pretty good, what about you?"
I pulled out of the hug.

"Everything's good."
He smiled.
I still had one question in my head, why was he here?
I mean i know it's his brother, but he suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

"So, what do you need?"
Pedri asked.

"Oh yeah, tomorrow evening mom and dad wanted to do a family dinner so they asked if you wanted to come."
Fer explained.

"Ow yeah sure but under one condition, Lucia is coming with me."
He looked at me.

"No no it's your family dinner, I don't mind staying alone."

"No it's fine you can come with him i'm sure they'll be happy to see you again."
Fer said excited.
The truth was, i didn't want to go, at all.
Ofcourse i know them since i was a child, but this situation between Pedri and me is gonna make things weird.
But Fer was so excited about the idea, i couldn't say no to him.

"Okay fine i'll come."

A huge smile appeared on his face.

"Your not gonna regret this i promise."
He laughed.

"And what do you mean by that?"
I frowned.

"I will make sure my mom's croquettes are there, i know you love them."

Well, okay.
Maybe this wasn't such a bad idea at all.

"Bye Fer!"
I shouted at him when i closed the door.
I sighed, and plopped myself on the couch.
Pedri did the same and looked at me with a worried look.

"Everything okay?"

"Yeah yeah it's just, why did you have to invite me to your parents? You know it's gonna be weird between us."
I turned my head around.

"Oh come on, you know my parents love you. And why would it be weird? We live with each other in the same house, isn't that weirder than a simple family dinner?"
He sat closer to me and threw his arm around my shoulder.

"Yeah i guess so."
I shrugged.

"Besides, don't act like you don't want me, we both know you do mi amor."
He whispered in my ear.
