Chapter 17

Lucia's pov:

Seriously? Pedri?

"Are you okay?"
I heard Eric saying.

"Yeah i just didn't expect him here."
I said while i turned to Eric again.
Eric nodded agreeing with me.
I heard footsteps coming our way.
I didn't had to think twice who it would be.

"Hey guy's."
Pedri and Gavi said politely to us.

"Hey, why aren't you two at the party?"
Eric asked.

"Well, Pedri wanted do to something with the two of us so we decided to grab some food."
Gavi said.

"Ow okay otherwise i would've asked you to join us but since you were planning with only you two I would say enjoy your evening."
Eric said.
I couldn't help but laugh a bit at how Eric was trying to get them away.
Pedri looked with a slightly confused face at us.

"What's so funny?"
Pedri asked.

"Oh no nothing, just something between Eric and me."
I said while looking at Eric again.
I saw in the corner of my eye Pedri rolling his eyes a bit.

"Sure it is."
I heard Pedri mumbling.

"What was that?"
I asked while looking at Pedri.

"Nothing."
He said.

"Sure it isn't."
I mumbled in the same way he did, while looking at Eric again.
I felt Pedri's eyes on me for a second, before he started talking.

"Have a nice evening."
He said while walking away leaving Gavi with a confused face.

"Well have a nice evening."
Gavi said with a smile while following Pedri.

"Well well someone was in a grumpy mood."
Eric said.

"Who? Pedri? No never how could you say something he's like a sunshine every day!"
I said sarcastically.

"Hey, don't let him bother you okay? Let's just enjoy our evening."
Eric said comforting me.
While we were eating i felt eyes on me, something just told me it came from the table were Gavi and Pedri were sitting.
But when i looked, i saw no one looking and just eating while talking to each other.
I guess i'm just starting to imagine things.

Pedri's pov

Gavi and me were eating while talking here and then, but something just distracted me.
I had no problems with any of the guys on my team, but i always got a bad feeling from Eric when it came to girl's.
He is well known as the "player" from the team, always from one girl to another when he was getting bored from them.
Lucia and me are maybe not as close as we were, but she was still my childhood bestfriend were I cared about. I still know how sad she got when a boy called her ugly. Even tho she was still a kid at that moment, it mattered for her.
I already have seen enough girl's hearts getting broken by Eric.
I didn't wanted that to happen again.

"Hey everything alright man? You seem a bit off."
Gavi snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Just not feeling that well."
I said as a excuse. While saying that, my eyes drifted off to Eric and Lucia's table.
Gavi frowned when he saw i was looking at something behind him.
He turned around and noticed i was looking at them.

"How cute, the always being grumpy Pedri still thinks about his childhood bestfriend."
Gavi said with a little smile on his face while eating his food again.

"What are you saying ofcourse not, but you know how Eric is with girls."
I said while looking at Gavi again.

"Yeah, but i want to know the other reason to."
Gavi said with a knowing smile.
