𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐞 •𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐢 𝐆𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐳•

Chapter 8

We stepped into the karts, and the man helped us start the karts. We drove our way out the pits, and started speeding up. I was driving first, behind me Gavi, Pedri behind Gavi, and Ferran and Isa were a bit further behind us.

I was leading a few laps until we came on the straight part of the track.
I saw Gavi approaching me at the left side, i wasn't gonna let him pass me that easy so i decided to push a little. I tried pushing him as close he can to the wall, without touching it.
But it didn't help that much because he pushed me back to the right where i was driving before.
And that was the moment he got the chance to pass me. He was so fast that i couldn't follow him anymore, so i gave up and let him pass.

I was holding my second position until the 5 last laps.
We were going into a turn when i saw Pedri close behind me. I took my turn late, where Pedri took advantage off. When we were going out the turn, we were driving next to each other.
I felt Pedri pushing my kart to the left, trying to get me close to the wall. No way that i was going let this happen.
So i started pushing him to the right. He started pushing me harder until i almost was against the wall. At that moment i had to slow down a bit because we were going into a turn, otherwise i couldn't make the turn. And that's the moment when he sped up a bit, and overtook me. Pedri looked behind and waved at me.
Why does he has to be like this?
I held out my middle finger.
I could see he was laughing under his helmet.
He turned around again and drove to the straight, to finish.
When we drove into the pits, he was still before me so i thought it would be fun to take a little revenge.
When Pedri stopped his kart, i drove with full gas against him. I saw him fly a little out of his seat, and i couldn't help myself from laughing.

He stepped out the kart and turned around towards me.
I stepped out of my kart.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?"
Pedri said seriously to me.

"Oh nothing i didn't see you there, poor you."
I said sarcastically with a laugh.

"Ahh i get it, just a bit jealous that i was better than you?"
Pedri said with a little arrogant smirk.

"Jealous? Of you? Even my dog wouldn't be jealous of you."
I said to him.

He shook his head and laughed.
I took my helmet off and shaked my hair, so that it lay good again.
When i looked up, i saw Pedri still standing in front of me,looking at my movement.

When he noticed i looked at him again. He started talking again.

"Maybe you should bring you're little 8 year old cousin next time, you know so you can race fair."
He said with his arrogant tone, and a smirk on his face.

"Ow poor you, than today wasn't fair for you either?"
I said with a smirk.

His face straightened.

"Who won from you? Oh that's right, it was me."
He said with a proud face.

"You're a asshole, you know?"
I said while crossing my arms.

"I know."
He said with his straight face and arrogant voice.

"You're a bitch, you know?"
He said.

"I know."
I said copying what he just said.

I saw Isa walking towards us.

"Hey girl, come on let's go put our helmets away."
She said while fast grabbing my arm and walking away without saying anything to Pedri.

When we were a few meters apart from Pedri, she started talking again.

"Looked like you needed to be rescued there."
Isa said while we were putting our helmets away.

"I was just letting him know i'll always take my revenge."
I said while walking back to the boys.

"Typical my bestfriend."
She said while throwing her arm around my neck.

"So how was it with Ferran behind us?"
I asked while looking at Isa with a little smirk.

"Yeah well we had a lot of fun, he's a really nice and funny guy."
Isa said with a little smile.

"Glad you had fun."
I said being happy for my bestfriend.

The boys saw us approaching them.

"Hey you there i didn't see you that much while driving, i'm wondering why."
Gavi said while pulling me to them while laughing.

"Hahah very funny, next time i'm gonna beat you're ass."
I said.

"Easy there little one."
He said while throwing his arm around my neck.

When he was looking away for a second, i took my chance and rubbed my hand trough his hair while laughing.

"You little bitch."
He said while smiling and doing the same with my hair.

We were laughing until someone spoke up.

"Or we gonna stand here forever or are we gonna leave eventually?"
Pedri said with a irritated voice while walking to the car.

"Wait here a sec, i'll go talk to him for a minute."
Gavi said while walking to Pedri who was almost at the car.

"Jezus what is wrong with that guy?"
I said.
Ferran looked at me while thinking.

"I don't know, maybe a grumpy mood."
Ferran said.

"He's always in a grumpy mood."
Isa said laughing.

We all were laughing while i looked over to Gavi And Pedri.

I saw Pedri standing with his back against the car, and Gavi with his back to me, talking to Pedri.

Pedri didn't seem that happy when Gavi was talking to him. It looked like they had a discussion about something but i've got no idea about what. To be honest, i don't even wanna know.

When they were done, Gavi walked towards us while Pedri already stepped into the car.

"What was that about?"
I asked Gavi.

"Nothing important, but we should go."
Gavi said.

"Alright."
I said while walking next to Gavi back to the car, Isa and Ferran were walking together behind us.

When i stepped into the car, Pedri didn't even give a kick when he heard the door.
He's even got weirder over the past years than he already was.

Pedri started the car,and drove to Gavi's house.
Im going to be stuck with Pedri for the whole evening.
