Chapter 23

George had been eliminated and no one in the precinct knew of it because the warden didn't conduct his rounds in George's room. He was ever so grumpy and abusive towards the other inmates to the extent he had to be isolated because of his insolent behavior.

From Blesse's calculations it could take a maximum of four days before people at the precinct noticed his corpse or sooner if Adan who rarely paid his Father a visit decided to be a good son and come see his old man.

The 5's hit list had begun to drop; only two people were left on Nada's list. Swart whom she had cornered, and the President whose backbone was George.

When Fae was much younger, her childhood dream and the top thing to do on her bucket list was to assassinate a President. She was happy the dream was finally going to come true.

"So who's next?" Blesse asked.

"The President of course" Fae said.

"I'm asking because Swart is also on the list" Blesse said.

"The correct question Blesse should be what's next?" Nada said.

"And we do nothing for now. We'll let them find the body themselves" she added and placed a cigarette in between her lip and made to light it. Daniel sat beside her and snatched it from her mouth and placed it in his. The girls raised a brow at that, wondering if he still had the hots for Nada after three years.

"And if Adan and the rest don't find the body?" Mini asked.

"They will, eventually. And even if they don't I'm just gonna have to send them a pic" Nada answered.

"A pic? You took a picture of him?" Nebula asked.

"In case you guys needed visual confirmation" Nada said and handed her phone to the girls.

"I can't believe he is dead. It's a good thing though" Blesse said.

"So are we gonna celebrate?" Stephany asked.

"Not yet. Not until we get rid of President Dante" Nada said.

"I don't normally say this but I'm gonna say it. Getting rid of the President would be hard" Nebula said.

"I've got a card" Nada said.

"A card? What? Like a trump card or something?" Stephany asked.

"Something like that. My card is Katherine" Nada answered.

"Who's Katherine?" Daniel asked.

"Ah, I thought you knew everything about us? Anyway, she's our savior" Nada said.

"What's the plan?" Blesse asked and took out her tablet.

"Once Adan finds out George is dead everyone else would know and if the President is aware he'd nail it down to the bombing of three years ago. Then, he's try to escape and that's when we strike" Nada said.

"We're gonna be needing a chopper because we can't attack him on land. He's the President, he's got agents who are trained like us so if we try to attack him when they are around we'd fail. We'll attack on air" she concluded.

"Okay" Mini said understanding immediately.

"But before that, we're gonna have to kill someone who would wanna track us down" Daniel said.

"Who's that?" Nada asked.

"Adan" he said.

"Huh? No, we aren't killing Adan. He was just doing his job" Nada objected.
