Debbie looked outside the window as the car drove down to her house. The lady who was beside her in the car kept on blabbing about schedules and what not. She couldn’t believe how her Mother expected her to have interviews and cry in front of cameras just to get sympathy from the public. She had already being through a lot already and putting her through it all again was torture.

The car parked in front of the mansion and she stepped out to be welcomed by her Mother. She pushed her aside when she tried to hug her and made to go straight for her room in a bid to avoid all the drama.

“Yeah, go inside and act all ungrateful to the person who saved your life and didn’t let you face the same fate as the other survivors” Jones said.

Debbie turned towards her and looked her in the eye.

“Are you asking me to be grateful that the people I shared the same hospital room with were murdered because of Lewis and I wasn’t?” she asked.

“Yes. You should be grateful and thankful to me for the rest of your life” Jones said.

“No, I won’t because it’s because of you Lewis killed all those people” Debbie said and walked into her room this time around.

Jones turned to hit the vase beside her against the wall when her phone rang.

It was the visual confirmation from Fae. She put a call across to the Military Judge and went to her chair to sit down.

“Yes Ramos, the survivors have been taken care of so it’s time you begin the plan as I had stated in the file I dropped on your desk earlier today” she said.

“What file are you talking about?” Ramos asked.

Blesse had taken the file Jones dropped before he could lay his eyes on it so Jones’ words were a puzzle to him.

“I dropped a file, a black file with you and it contains everything I plan to do with the fragging case” Jones said.

“I didn’t see anything like that” Ramos said.

“Ramos if what’s in that file gets out we will both be doomed! What on earth are you talking about now? Get your act together and find the file before you make me do something you’ll regret, you hear me?!” she yelled.

“Gosh Jones you are so loud, do you know that? And why are you so hyper? I thought you were sure the President got your back” he said.

“You know what, forget about the file and just go ahead with the plan” she said.

“What do you want?” he asked.

“What do you mean what do I want?” she asked back.

“Well, I didn’t see this so called plan of yours so I don’t know what it is you want me to do. Thus the question, what do you want?” he explained.

“Okay, at the break of dawn you should take the case from the current judge and get an attorney who is loyal to you to defend my daughter” she stated.

“Whatever” Ramos said and ended the call.

“Darn it!” Jones yelled and threw her phone to the ground.

The security guard nearest to her rushed down to pick up the phone and hand it to her but before he could get up, she used the heel on her slippers to step on his foot. The heel pierced through his hand and drew blood then he let out a cry.

His tears seemed to make Jones happy. She took off her foot from his hand and he crawled backwards in surprise and anger.

“Men would always be under my feet and I’ll make it stays that way”
