"EISSA! NO! Don't throw toys at Winston." He threw another one and Winston started crying. "Okay. That's not nice." I popped Eissa's hand and he started crying. I turned to Winston. "Okay, shhh. Stop crying." I picked him up and rocked him. His cries died down, but Eissa started crying louder which made Winston start to cry again. "Babies, please quiet down."

"Mama Jay, I can't focus on my essay. I can't come up with a topic with all this noise." Isan stood in the living room doorway.

"I'm sorry, honey. I'll help you. Just..." Winston sneezed on me. "....give me a minute." She huffed and stumped away.

"MAMA!" Eissa screamed.

"Don't scream, baby boy." Winston sneezed again. Eissa was crying so hard that he started hiccuping. I pulled him on the other side of me. "Is okay, mama's here." They began to quiet down and I felt a sense of calmness. Until Eissa coughed and spit up on my chest and shoulder. They both started crying again.

"Ewww!" Winston screamed.

"It's okay, we'll get everyone cleaned up." I sat them in the playpen. "Just wait here." I went to the laundry room and got washcloths and towels. When I went back through the dining room, Isan was sitting with her school books and computer.

"I brought everything to work. I'm so confused."

"I'll help you as soon as I give them a bath."

"Mama Jay."

"I'm sorry, sweetie. Eissa threw up and it got on him and Winston."

"Okay. I'll wait."

"Thank you." I headed to the living room but the doorbell rang. "Uhhh who's that?" I went and opened the door.

"Hey, gir...ewwww. What is on you?" It was Hanna, Isan's mother.

"Eissa threw some toys, it hit Winston, he cried, Eissa cried, next thing I know, we're all covered in spit up." I whined.

"Okay. Okay. Calm down." She came in and we went into the living room. Eissa and Winston were playing and laughing.

"Now they're friends. What the heck?"

"Listen, you just went from one baby to three in less than a month. Go clean yourself up and I'll get them in the tub."

"Okay, thanks so much." I went to my bathroom and took a quick shower. Once I was done, I lotioned up and put on a tank top and joggers. I went back down stairs into the bathroom and saw Winston and Eissa splashing in the water. "I really can't appreciate you enough for this." I kneeled next to the tub with her.

"Girl, it's no problem. I'm here for you. We're friends."

"Thanks girl."

"No problem. Plus you're going to need my help when the new baby comes." I whipped my head around.

"What?"

"The new baby. You're pregnant, right?"

"No."

"You sure? Your skin is glowing, your boobs are very plump and sweetie you have a little bump coming in." I quickly got up and looked in the mirror. I did see my stomach poking out a little.

"Oh my god." Started looking through the drawers and medicine cabinet. I found a pregnancy test. "I'll be right back." I went to the toilet and closed the door. It took a minute but I finally took the test. I washed my hands and sat it on the counter. Hanna came back into the bathroom.

"They're back in the playpen. What does it say?"

"I don't know! It's not ready!"

"Okay, calm down. What's the matter?"
