12Years has gone by and now he wants to talk to me?
Please.
Aint no body got time for that! I dont want to be mad at Darnell but he promised he would keep in touch.
A month after he left the phone calls and the messaging back stopped with no warning. You would think he would check in on me from time to time but no.
So I did wat I had to. Went on with my life. And pushed him farther down memory lane.
I was debating on whether I should call him back and cancel the appointment for tomorrow when I remembered what the Lord had told me earlier on today. He told me that today would mark a new chapter of my life.
I looked up towards heaven and said " Lord, I'm trusting you. My life is in your hands so lead me on. "
I glanced at my watch.
6:07 It read.
" Guess I''ll turn in for the night after a hot, nice shower. Today has been... interesting and tomorrow I need to go looking for a job." (sigh)
