the boys leave to go on some kind of festival cruise in a few days so I've just been spending the few days i have with them before they leave.

I've been spending more time with Noah recently, after the night at the park we just grew closer.

"what do you mean you don't like lord of the rings!?" he gasps, sitting across from me at a cafe.

"it means exactly how it sounds. I like Harry Potter more." I take a sip of my iced coffee.

"that's a hate crime!" he dramatically says, but he holds a grin on his face.

"oops." I wink at him.

"Sméagol fucking terrifies me." i comment.

"Sméagol? nah man." he laughs.

we sit in the cafe for about an hour before heading to his house.

we walk in the door and he excuses himself to the bathroom.

"oh kennedyyy." Nick says in a sing song voice.

"oh god what do you want Nicholas, I just got here." I jokingly groan at my best friend.

he jumps on the couch next to me, "so tell your bestie, what's going on between you and my boy? huh? and don't you dare lie!"

I groan and instantly facepalm. "Nick I told you last time, nothing. we're just friends." I shrug. I can't help the sour taste on my tongue when I say "just friends".

"bullshit." folio now says.

"bullshit? where the hell did you come from?"

"yes, bullshit. I can smell it all the way from over here."

"you guys get on my nerves." I sigh.

before they can anything else Noah comes back and sits next to me on the other side.

Nick not so secretly winks at me and turns the tv on.

"so what we watching?" Nick asks.

"lord of the rings!" Noah says throwing his arm on the back of the couch behind me and he starts playing with a strand of my hair.

the action doesn't go unnoticed though and Nick just smirks at me. I stick my tongue at him in return.

"nooo!" I whine.

"definitely watching it now." Nick plays the movie.

"I officially hate you all." I huff and just earn laughs from everyone.

I unfortunately sit through the entirety of the movie with Noah still playing with my hair.

I know my cheeks are slightly flushed. I can't help it, this man makes me feel things I don't want to feel. I try to push the feelings down, but they won't budge. they never do.

I clear my throat and get up, "I'm getting a glass of water."

"I'm quite parched as well." Nick say's following me.

I grab a glass and fill it with water, then chug it.

"you're a little flushed." he smirks.

"shut up."

"you know it's okay to like someone." he says shrugging and I just sigh.

"I don't know Nick." I set the glass in the sink.

"look clearly there's something there between the two of you. he's a good guy, there's nothing to be worried about. just try it, okay?"

I just sigh and walk back out with him.

Noah looks at me with a smile when I sit down and I smile back.

I guess I'll give it a shot. what could go wrong?
