TODAY'S the day to meet Lola Mary.
I was too excited to see her again while my Heaven beside me looked... stressed.
And we're on our way to his grandma's mansion—Lola Mary's mansion.
"Yes," he answered nonchalantly.
"What's wrong?" I couldn't hide the fact that he was not in his usual self at this hour.
"I was just worried."
"Huh?"
"Yesterday, when you weren't answering my calls— God knows I was ready to turn the world upside down just to let me hear your voice."
I knew my face had turned flushed but I couldn't help it.
My Heaven's talking sweet again.
Pwedeng tumili?
"H-heaven... s-sorry, busy kasi ako kahapon. You know, medyo hands on sa bakeshop. I've helped in baking. Plus, I've left my phone on my drawer.
I couldn't tell him that I've talked with Santina and well, Hell's twin. I just think it's not a good idea.
And he didn't want any connection between us again.
I felt how he loved me that much.
He just sighed in return.
"Are you angry?" I asked while peeking at his angelic, handsome face.
"No. Talagang nag-alala lang ako." Lumingon siya nang saglit sa akin. "Don't do that again."
Heaven's not really the possessive type but he cared a lot to me. Kaya naiintindihan ko siya.
I smiled. "Aye, aye, KO."
And with that, he smiled, too.
"You know why I like you calling me 'KO'?" he asked out of the blue.
"Hmm?"
"Because the first time you called me that, I thought it meant 'KO' as in possessive 'ko'. Like saying I'm just yours.
Cute and gwapo at the same time—amazing.
Hindi ko na napigilan ang sariling tumawa. He could really be adorable at times.
"Hey, stop that!" he hissed.
"O-oo na. Pfft—okay, fine! 'KO' as in 'ko'. Akin. Fine. If that's what you want. Do you want me to call you 'ko'?" I offered with a pinch of mocking in my voice.
"Nah," he curtly answered.
"Then what?" I raised a brow.
"Just 'Heaven'." He looked swiftly at me again. "I love it when you call me my name itself. Say, you can still add 'ko' to it. 'Heaven ko.'"
