unknown venom ~spiderman ff~

chapter thirty five- danger lingers

coles/pov

it started to rain the whole city was in pure darkness no one was out on the streets and it felt like a ghost town peter was swinging through the air venom had been gone for a little while now we were starting to worry I looked down below seeing the cops and blue and red lights flashing brightly from there cars and now the swat team was gaining on us suddenly we heard a cops echoing shout

'THERE HEADING SOUTH'

my heart skipped a beat I didn't say anything to peter he took one big leap and there was a strange light shining on us I guessed it was a chopper the cop in the chopper then wailed into the microphone

'STAND DOWN NOW OR WILL OPEN FIRE WE'VE GOT YOU BOTH SURROUNDED'

suddenly peter put me down in a hidden nearby alleyway he whispered

'tell ash I'm in danger get out of here safely'

I nodded immediately before peter shot a web and swung off lucky the lookout tower was nearby so I raced off quickly before anymore of the cops or even the swat team could catch me

ashes/pov

it had been a while since we sent delilah out by herself to look for blaire and marinette it had been relatively quiet up at the lookout tower the only thing we could hear was the rain pouring down from the dark sky we didn't know where venom was and we also didn't know if peter and cole was ok I asked siren

'it's been really quiet up here have you seen venom on the security cameras yet or even peter and cole I haven't heard from them in a while and I'm starting to get really concerned somethings happened to them'

siren did a brief look on the security cameras before turning back to me and saying

'nope I haven't seen venom or heard from peter and cole yet'

all of a sudden there was a loud knock at door siren hurried over to open it it was cole siren asked worriedly

'cole come in why is it just you here shouldn't you be with peter right now'

cole ran in he was kind of damp from the rain he sat down in a chair he also sounded out of breath was he running I then asked

'cole whats happened to peter I want to know is he in danger'

cole explained

'peter's in danger we were looking around the city for venom when suddenly the cops were after us again they had sent out the swat team this time to make it easier to catch spiderman before peter got caught he put me down in this quiet alleyway where the cops and swat team couldn't see us he quickly said to me to tell you guys that he's in danger'

my stomach dropped I couldn't believe what had happened I was going to go out there no one was stopping me I mumbled

'I'm going out there'

siren responded

'what'

I exhaled before repeating

'I'm going out there my dad can't find out peter is spiderman'

siren gasped before yelling

'YOU CAN'T GO OUT THERE VENOM WILL FIND YOU YOU'RE A RISK TO HIM'

I explained in a serious tone whilst grabbing some stuff

'don't worry about me spiderman has helped me a million times so it's time for me to return a favour'

once I had all my stuff I swung open the door I could see the rain falling heavily outside I heard cole shout whilst I was running

'GOOD LUCK ASH'

peters/pov

I kept on swinging hoping the cops or even the swat team wouldn't catch me the cold air was hitting my face suddenly I heard a cop call out

'YOU ARE SURROUNDED THERE IS NO ESCAPE'

I tried to remain calm at that moment one of the members of the swat team were using a taser launcher they tried shooting the first time luckily I dodged it they tried shooting a second time and I missed it again third shot still nothing all of them where now trying to shoot me with the taser launcher this is where I needed to pick up the pace or I wouldn't be able to escape this horrible nightmare of being chased all of a sudden I saw another chopper blinding my eyes

I heard an ear piercing bang and car tyres screeching followed on with another loud bang I didn't know what it was but I immediately ran into this abandoned alleyway so I could see all the action without the cops or the swat team stopping me I saw in the corner of my eyes spiderman had been tasered by the swat team I wanted to run out there and stop them but there was nothing I could do so I stayed hidden peter's body looked lifeless as he was handcuffed by one of the members of the swat team and there he was my dad in all his glory I peeked out seeing his disgusting smug look on his happy face tears were forming in my eyes as I started crying silently to myself I was praying that the unthinkable wouldn't happen the thing I was dreading ever since the beginning of spiderman the reveal to my parents my dad stood there for a moment the rain was now falling lightly he then knelt down his eyes were on peter's mask without saying a word to the cops or even the swat team he carefully grabbed the mask as I was squinting my eyes tightly preparing for the worst
