chapter fourty- goodbye harry

*a few days later

me and marinette arrived at the cemetery a few minutes early there were a few other people waiting and wondering slowly around the cemetery looking at all the other endless dark graves standing there I knew this day was going to be emotional for all of us especially blaire she didn't deserve to go through this I knew she didn't know harry for very long but she cared a lot about him he was losing it near the end of his life and it was best to do what was right for him his body was never found it just disappeared on that day we got rid of venom so the casket would be completely empty with no remains in there not even a piece of his own hair or anything another few minutes had passed and the funeral was just about to start the others had arrived just in time we didn't say anything to each other we just stood around his grave placed right next to his father that's what he would've wanted the funeral then started everyone was silent I could hear loads of heartbroken sobbing as the sun shone down on his grave after a few minutes blaire stood in front of his grave to say a few words

'dearly beloved I am thankful to be here today to worship and grief harry's life harry was always a bomb who was about to explode he had so much life in him I always cared about what he was doing who his friends were and what he liked to do he wasn't always the nicest person to me and some other people but harry'

I could see the tears forming in her eyes hopefully she'd be able to hold onto her emotions for the last bit she managed to say sadly

'me and your friends miss you so much I really hope up there in the clouds you'll be able to see your father again just like you always wanted to when he was sadly taken from us'

after saying that she broke down into tears I quickly ran over to her and hugged her softly before the others came over and started hugging her as well I could see in everyone else's eyes the sympathy they had for her a few more minutes had passed the funeral had sadly ended some people were starting to head home but me and the others stood silently by harry and norman's grave suddenly delilah asked quietly

'so what are we going to do now'

siren replied

'I don't know we're just going to have to live our lives like we used to back when venom wasn't here I'm happy that the city is back to normal now but because of harry's loss we're all stuck'

I explained

'yeah we're going to help out blaire obviously continue our lives and see where we go from there because no one knows where we're going to be in the future'

cole responded with

'true we could be anywhere by then one of us could even be married and plus we've got our trip to the maldives soon so that's going to be fun to experience and it'll be the start to our future in a way'

after socialising for a while me and marinette started to head home we decided to walk because it was nice weather about twenty minutes later we finally arrived home the house felt really empty without my parents and siblings but I was really happy that I didn't have to see their faces anymore the feeling of having to look at them made me sick marinette asked me

'so what do you want to do now ash is there anything in mind you want to do'

I exclaimed

'let's go out in the back yard it's a really nice day outside and I'd like to spend some time outside while the sun's still out'

marinette smiled at me before saying

'yeah I agree with you it's really nice anyways let's go out'

we both entered the garden seeing the sun was still shining in the blue sky it was only the afternoon so the sun was going to be up for the next couple of hours about two hours later me and marinette decided to go inside I explained to her

'you know marinette we going to maldives in about two months time I'm really hyped about going'

marinette said excitedly

'yeah me too I can't wait until we go it'll be so much fun just hanging out with the guys for about a week anyways I have to make dinner for you and me'

marinette left to go into the kitchen whilst I dragged myself upstairs to my room I flopped down onto my bed I felt really bored so I decided to facetime Peter to see what he was up to I was praying to myself he would answer luckily he did I exclaimed happily

'hey peter what are you up to'

peter grinned at me I smiled back at him I felt great to finally not be distracted by my parents or siblings whilst I was on call with him peter replied

'not much I'm just resting after the battle my body is just aching and it's better if I rest before I can get up on my feet again but I promise I'll try and see you'

suddenly I had that one question that came into my head I was so willing to ask peter so I quickly asked

'wait peter weird question does aunt may know about you being spiderman after the final battle'
