I gasped quietly both my hands were over my mouth as peter and ash were still dancing with each other as the song was coming to an end ash and peter stopped dancing a silence washed over the garden ash smiled I never really saw her smile much she whispered to peter

'thank you'

before peter could say anything she leaned in to kiss him tears were forming in my eyes I had a look around me I could see most of her family whispering some people were just staring where were her parents I knew her parents wouldn't be happy about this but ash deserved to be loved by someone but suddenly my greatest fear came true

ashes/pov

the kiss had lasted for a few seconds we didn't notice my parents were standing right in front of us we both pulled away I suddenly glanced towards my family all of them looked incredibly shocked I saw my mom stare angrily into my eyes I gripped peter's hand tightly I knew hell was coming my way

'WHY HAVE YOU GONE BEHIND MY BACK YOU WEREN'T INVITED THIS YEAR'

I mumbled confusingly

'what do you mean I wasn't invited'

my mom screamed

'TO THE FAMILY GATHERING YOUR SO FUCKING USELESS AND WHO THE HELL GOT YOU THAT DRESS YOU'VE GOT NO MONEY'

peter nudged me I looked into his brown eyes as he whispered to me

'its alright if anything happens to you I'll be right here beside you'

I exhaled before explaining

'peter got me the dress because I deserve to be happy in this world you haven't gave one single fuck about my feelings where were you when I needed you most why was I even born into this family full of posh assholes when no one here actually cares about me'

my dad was now beside my mom peter had disappeared from sight I looked around me before calling out worriedly

'peter'

my voice sounded shaky my dad then bellowed before slapping me

'STOP BEING AN ATTENTION SEEKER ALL YOU'RE DOING IS TRYING TO MAKE PEOPLE CARE ABOUT YOU'

I kept on calling out for peter nothing would happen my parents kept on beating me up and the pain would get worse and worst a few minutes later my calling turned into sobbing I fell to the ground with a thud I felt emotionally hurt my family just ignored me as they all went inside the house my tears were still falling from my eyes onto the floor I grabbed my phone and tried to call peter he wouldn't answer at this point I was going to lose all hope but I couldn't lose it yet so I tried again this time he luckily answered I cried out sadly to him

'peter why did you leave me you promised me that you were going to stay by my side'

peter explained

'I'm so sorry ash venom was causing trouble again and I had to go he's still sabotaging the city right now please forgive me it's not my fault'

I could hear the pain in his voice he didn't mean to do this I knew it wasn't his fault venom was becoming more tougher by the day and peter was working harder so venom wouldn't cause any permanent damage I answered worriedly

'listen it's fine peter I'm just worried for you that's all I don't want you getting hurt or severely injured'

peter groaned and I heard a loud thud tears came back into my eyes again I heard him mumble

'I've got to go now ash see you tomorrow'

I didn't want the call to end like this he was definitely hurt I said as my voice was slightly breaking again

'peter w-'

he hung up was this the end I couldn't just remain at home and wait for him I had to do something I knew it would be dangerous but I had to I quickly ran into the house there was no time for me to get changed I wanted to be out the house as quickly as possible as soon as I was ready I put my sneakers on and raced out the house in the pouring rain but I didn't care though as long as I could find peter check if he was alright then everything would be ok

a few minutes of running around in the rain trying to finding peter I felt a bit hopeless after a while was this really worth it I knew it would take a while because he was spiderman and he could be anywhere it was starting to get colder and also darker I wanted to just give up and go back suddenly I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket it must've been peter I immediately picked up I exhaled before saying sort of out of breath

'oh my god peter thank god you're ok alive even where are you I've been trying to look for you for the past ten minutes now'

peter didn't answer I was starting to feel concerned was he hurt what was going on did venom do something to him before starting to panic even more I asked in a more serious tone

'what has happened peter please answer me where are you are you hurt'

finally he answered me I sighed in relief but I was still panicking though if he wasn't answering me he wasn't alright I heard him mumble quietly

'I'm alright just meet me at manhattan bridge'

~finally I've got this chapter done sorry if it took forever to write I was sick all week I felt like I couldn't do anything the only thing I could do was lay bed all day but thankfully I managed to get this chapter completed the next chapter will be out soon
