chapter six- the black overdose

harry's/pov

it had been a couple hours since I went to chill in my room I looked out my window outside it was already completely dark I closed my blinds before going to check on blaire when I made it to her room I slowly opened her door finding her already asleep after that I left the room closing the door silently behind me I went downstairs I was so desperate to explore my father's lab again when I reach the lab door I opened the door closing it behind me before creeping downstairs once I made to the lab I whispered to myself

'ok let's see what this stuff is'

the time I went down to explore the lab before there was this black liquid my father's writing was still on there I decided to check the cupboards and there were some pills that had the same exact writing on there the next idea seemed a bit extreme I said to myself

'I guess I could see what they do to me'

I grabbed the needle that had the black liquid and one of the pills out the packet I was hoping this would stop me feeling so depressed I thought for a second before quickly putting the pill in my mouth before I drunk down the liquid suddenly my heart started aching it felt like a knife stabbed my heart before the pain got any worse I managed to drag my feet upstairs I closed the lab door as I walked with my hands clutched over my chest luckily I made it upstairs to my room before I began to feel dizzy I felt like vomiting but instead I collapsed by my bed that's when I blacked out

the next morning came relatively quickly for me I still had the aching feeling in my heart my whole body was hurting and I still felt nauseous suddenly blaire came into my room while saying

'harry it's time to wake up you've got college today'

I grumbled

'just give me five more minutes I'm bloody exhausted'

blaire exclaimed in shock

'Jesus you look so pale is everything alright you don't look well'

I mumbled quickly

'no no everything's fine I'm just a bit tired that's all nothing's wrong with me'

blaire glanced at me before leaving my room

ashes/pov

we were all having lunch I noticed harry was looking a bit pale I asked him

'hey harry you look a bit pale are you ok'

harry nodded before we all Bagan talking to each other again a few minutes later the bell rang we all quickly got up cole said to me

'looks like we're in the same class ash let's go'

me and cole then rushed off to class we made it with few minutes to spare cole looked over at me before asking

'ash can I tell you something but can you keep it a secret please'

I smiled before saying

'sure what is it'

cole explained

'well I have a crush on delilah and I don't know what to do'

I pin dropped in the room I didn't expect him to say that I stuttered

'o-ok how a-are you going to ask her out'

cole replied

'well I don't know I'm going to wait for the'

suddenly the teacher walked into the classroom I quickly manage to scribble my phone number on a slip of paper I whispered to cole

'will talk about this later ok'

a few boring hours later school had finally ended for the day I was walking with delilah marinette I was wondering where harry and peter were so asked

'does anyone know where harry and peter are they should be with us right now'

marinette responded

'I don't know but I think I heard that harry vomited after class so I'm guessing they're both in the toilets'

I said softly

'that's sounds horrible I knew something was wrong with harry he looked kind of pale today and he wasn't his usual self'

a few hours had passed I was already back at home I tucked under some warm fluffy blankets while I was on my laptop watching youtube a few minutes later I got a notification from my phone I checked to see who it was it was cole

cole: hi ash how are you

ash: I'm good thanks ☺️

cole: that's good

ash: anyways so how are you going to ask delilah out

cole: well I was ask her when we're not at school because I think it might be a bit embarrassing asking her out at school 😳

ash: yeah with me and peter looking back at it I find it confusing on how we got together 😅

cole: wait you and peter are dating

ash: yeah sorry I didn't tell you before hand I like to be secretive sometimes

cole: it's ok anyways I've got to go now I'm going to practise a bit in my guitar see you tomorrow

ash: ok see you tomorrow
