Cat was tired, she was ready to go back home. Sure the boys were nice, but she did miss her family, Birdie, and Hound. All that was left was to get Hasan, dead or alive. Then she could go back to normal, no matter how much she would admittedly miss the boys. They were some of the better men she ever had to work with, one pushier than the others but it was endearing.
Cat had pulled her knees to her chest because she was cold the one major downside to taking a dive off a ship without any dry clothes to change into and being on the smaller side did mean Cat got colder faster than she got warmer, so despite the men in the car having ran the heat, they did turn it off because they got too warm.
"Cat?" Ghost said in a hushed tone.
"Hm?"
"Are you cold?"
"A little, nothing I haven't-"Ghost tossed something soft at her, covering her head when it hit.
"What the-" Cat stopped when she pulled off the mystery fabric. Ghost threw a jacket at her.
"Where- when? Actually, just, thanks."
Ghost grunted in response.
Cat wanted to ask why he had just a random jacket, where was it, was it his?
"Don't think about the jacket too much. When we were loading up to head back I saw it. I think it's Alejandro's."
Alejandro let out a hum at the mention of his name.
"Not talking to you, Alejandro. Just that we all are freezing Cat."
"How are we freezing Cat?" Soap interrupted."Well she is smaller than us, so it's not like she can stay warm as long as we can."
"You calling me fat, Lt?" Soap joked."You said it."
"Feelin' the love, Lt."
"Are you calling me fat too, hermano?"
"Alejandro, you're not fat, just... cuddly."
Alejandro groaned, "Not you too, gato."
"Am I not your sister anymore? Ouch. Thought you were better than that Alejandro."
"It's fitting-"
"You don't call Ghost fantasma.""Don't bring me into your nickname crisis."
Cat swatted at Ghost, "Go along with it, you ass." Cat whispered.
"Are you two scheming something?"
"Don't worry about it Soap. At least you haven't called me sister just to stop whenever you felt. But, it's not the first time I've been abandoned by family."
"Cat, we've talked about this," Soap complained.
"No, we didn't. You may have dreamt of it." Cat stopped, "Soap, do you dream about me?" Cat had a mischievous grin.
"No- I, uh" Soap stammered.
Cat noticed that Alejandro had a gobsmacked expression as Soap kept stammering out noes and trying to explain, "What Alejandro? You got something to say?"
"I- uh no. Just wasn't prepared to deal with Soap up here. But if you don't knock-"
"Alejandro, if you tell me to knock this behavior off, I will be so much worse.""Cat, give them a break. Be glad Alejandro doesn't know what you did to that room he had you in."
Cat feigned a gasp, "Are you going to tell him? Didn't realize you were a snitch, Ghost. Thought you would have kept that quiet."
