Things were pretty tense between Aubrey and I this morning as we discussed everything that has been going on. A resurfaced clip of Juan crying at one of his shows is going viral which is making everyone want us back together and my dickhead brother is publicly reaching out to me.
Juan has tried to apologise to me but I made it clear that he has nothing to be sorry about since our fans are always going to dig stuff up. The entire situation is making me feel conflicted and now I'm questioning if whether I rushed into things with Aubrey.
It's our final day here on this beautiful island and we are catching a flight back home this evening. I won't get to see my daughter until tomorrow which I'm pretty sad about but her dad has been sending me pictures and videos of her.
"Things have been pretty tense today so I wanted to surprise you with a little something." Aubrey says as we walk onto the beach and I smile up at him. "I want to see that beautiful smile of yours."
"You're so corny." I nervously laugh as he kisses the top of my head.
Aubrey is unlike anybody that I have ever met and I honestly did not expect him to be so romantic or attentive to my feelings due to his reputation.

I look at my boyfriend in complete surprise as we arrive at our destination only for there to be a live band playing one of my favorite songs. When Aubs and I first started hanging out, he didn't think that I knew much about music not pop related so he was pretty surprised when I started singing along to the classics during our car rides.

"Oh My God." I cover my face as he films my reaction and I find myself stopping in my tracks as tears fall rom my eyes.

"Elle bear." Aubrey pulls my hands down before pulling me in for a passionate kiss while still recording us. "I'm never letting you go."
"Did you seriously do this for me?" I quietly ask as I look around the dinner on the beach setting which is really quite beautiful. There are white flowers scattered around the area that we will be eating in and there are some of the most beautiful red roses on the table.
"I'll give you the entire world." He presses his lips against mine once more before helping me to my seat and I just can't stop the tears from falling. The live band sounds really good which is only adding to the sensual mood that Aubrey has created.
A chef approaches our table and we make light conversation as he prepares a seafood for us.
"Now that things are getting more serious between us, I was thinking about buying a house in your neck of the woods so we can spend more time together." Aubrey's words take me by surprise. "We're not moving in together anytime soon but I do want spend more time with you."
"You're a grown man, you can do what you like." I softly tell him as he kisses my hand. "I don't want you rushing into anything."
"I'm sure you've heard the interview where I spoke about dating four women at a time but I've stopped that for you." He looks into my eyes with a sincere look on his face. "I never really knew what I was looking for in a partner but I do now. We're not your average couple but I know that I'm not ready to let you go because you really do mean the world to me."
I want so badly to repeat those words but I can't find it in me to do so.
"Aubrey."
He nervously laughs, "I've never really felt this way about anyone so I'm trying not to mess this up. Falling for someone in a world like this is one of the hardest things to do but I'm so grateful that I met you as you have truly shown me what it means to have found that one person that you want to wake up to."
I close my eyes as he cups my face.
"That one person that you want to see smile, the person that makes your heart skip a beat and the person that you want to spend the rest of your life with." Aubrey's words take me by complete surprise and I find myself crying as we embrace in a hug.

I had no idea that Aubrey was that invested in our relationship which makes what I'm about to do even tougher. I was thinking about ending my relationship with Aubrey once we returned from our getaway but that would make me the villain after his confession.
"What the hell am I supposed to do?" I tearfully ask Kylie as we speak over facetime. "He's like the perfect guy but I'm just not in love with him."
"Firstly, you need to stop crying." She gives me a worried look. "Secondly, where's Drake now?"
"Aubrey is getting a solo massage downstairs so I have an hour to collect my feelings because I don't want to make a scene." I sniffle while wiping my eyes. "I miss the simpler times."
"Oh Elle..." Kylie's face scrunches up.
"I know that everyone wants me to hate Juan for cheating on me which I kind of do but I miss being a family with him." I confess for the first time since getting with Aubrey. "I miss the times that we spent together and I always thought that we would be end game."
"You're going to make me cry."
"Aubrey makes me really happy but I'm not as committed to this as I thought I was. Seeing everything kick off online made me reminisce on the past and I'm going to sound so weak but I want my husband back."
Kylie and I spend the next minute crying on the phone to eachother because she is the only person who knows everything. I've told her my whole life story and how I looked at Juan as my savior because he really gave my life meaning.
"I don't recommend you ending things with Aubrey now because this could just be a phase so maybe take a week long break to see how you really feel." Kylie bites down on her bottom lip. "I haven't seen you this happy in a really long time and I don't want you giving it up in a moment of sadness."
"He does make me happy but I have to wonder if it's because he is the first guy to show me love and affection since my divorce or if it's because I have genuine feelings for him." I rub the side of my neck. "I legit thought for a second that he was going to propose over lunch."
