Four months ago, Serenity Aldene Arias surprised the hell out of us by showing up a month earlier than planned. Luckily for us, Juan and I had room to take in this tiny human who would be living in our home for free. She doesn't sleep very much during the night but she is a very chill individual which is why Juan and I take great pleasure in being her parents.

Our whole lives have changed since welcoming our daughter onto this earth but it's all for the better. Who would have thought that a tiny human would have us wrapped around her tiny little fingers?

Serenity was born while we were taking a trip to the UK. We had recently bought a home just outside London besides Harry and Veronica's UK home when Serenity just decided to slide out of me. Literally.

My labour process ended up being very quick and before we knew it, Juan was delivering our daughter in our hallway. It's a moment that I will never ever forget.

Since Serenity was born in the UK, we couldn't just leave the country and fly back to the states. We had to break the news to our friends and family over a series of facetime video calls. For the whole month of February, we had everyone flying in and staying at our new home to see our baby Serenity. 

When Serenity's passport came through, I thought that we would fly back to the US but surprisingly we ended up staying here in the UK. Kylie got tired of us being away so she booked us tickets back to our home which I am slightly grateful for since the weather is absolutely atrocious here. 

Since we are taking the time to raise our daughter, I have put the pause on my next album and I am just planning to release a few singles because I am currently working on a joint album with Violet, Kandice, Nia and Luxe which we will not be touring on. 

As my pregnancy progressed, I found myself coming to blows with my brother. Evan really showed his true colours and became the brother that I remember from my childhood. He really hurt my feelings so much so that I didn't attend his wedding and we have not been in contact since I was six months pregnant. I now recognise that he was jealous of my success which is not to say that he is not successful in what he does but I don't really need to do much to make money. I could do a paid sponsorship and earn almost a million dollars.

I laugh as Juan sticks his tongue out as he takes a mirror selfie of our little family so I pull out my phone to do the same.

"Look at us." He chuckles, "We're an instagram family."

I laugh as we make our way into our bedroom with a sleeping Serenity who literally fell asleep just before Juan took the mirror pictures.

I'll be completely honest, as much as I miss the weather in LA, I have really enjoyed our time here in the UK. Since we don't live in the city, it's as if we aren't even famous and I live for the moments where we go out and nobody recognises us.

"How are you feeling about going back?" Juan asks as he sets Serenity down on the bed. I grab my laptop from the nightstand and I quickly press the power button. 

"I'm going to miss the peace and quiet here." I honestly answer. "When we get back to LA, everyone is going to be all over us because they want to see Serenity."

"I don't know how I feel about that." He purses his lips as I click onto netflix.

"I'm so glad that I celebrated my birthday here." I let out a small yawn as I try to find something for us to watch as we both get settled on the bed with Serenity between us. 

Everyone was pissed when I didn't fly back to LA for my birthday. Kylie had planned out this whole extravaganza but I settled on having a nice dinner at the local pub.

"I know this is quick but I have to ask." I raise brow at my husband. "Do you want more children?"

"Of course I do." I smile at him. "You have given me the greatest gift of all which is Serenity. She's perfect and I can't wait to make more but in a year or so." 

Juan smiles back, "Sounds good."

For the next hour we settled on some sci fi movie which I actually really liked, it's called The Host. We were planning to watch something else within the same category but Serenity decided to wake up so I breastfed her before pulling her up into a sitting position so we could watch Peppa Pig.  

"I love your new hair by the way." Juan comments as he stares into my eyes. "You look beautiful."

I give him a sweet kiss which ends up being broken up by her daughter who is pushing me away from her daddy.

"Missy." I playfully give her a warning look.

My mouth drops as Serenity starts making noises directed at me as she moves closer to her daddy.

"That's my husband, little madam." I hold back a smile as she pulls a face.

Juan and I burst out laughing as Serenity attempts to have a go at me.

"She took my man." I sing the last line in Tamar's song as I stare at my little girl with loving eyes. 

"My little girl." Juan chuckles as he picks her up and cuddles her to his chest. I stick my tongue out as Serenity snuggles more into him.

I carried this little girl for eight long months and she's a full on daddy's girl. It'd probably because she saw him first since he delivered her and now she's in love. 

I don't mind though because these two are my world.
