"Everytime I see this gorgeous little girl, all I want to do is settle down with a nice lad and have one of my own." I laugh at Chloe's words as she cuddles my daughter to my chest as they lay on a pool float. "You are the most beautiful girl in the world, Miss Serenity Aldene."
Serenity smiles cutely at her, "Thank you."
"Awe, she said thank you." Chloe pouts as she holds up her phone to take a video of my daughter. "You are the most beautiful girl in the world, Miss Serenity Aldene."
"Thank you." Serenity repeats as she does her cute smile again and I laugh a little before taking a sip of my strawberry lemonade.
"You guys seriously need to move back to the UK, I can't take being this far away from you both."
"I do sometimes wish that we could back to the UK but that would be an adjustment that daughter won't be ready for and I'm quite happy being a Cali girl." I take another sip of my drink. "There's nothing to do where we live so I always have to drive into London to have fun."
"Then come to Newcastle, baby." Chloe does a little dance that makes my daughter laugh before she joins in. "It's time to have a proper night out in the toon."
"It has been a while." I rub my lips together. "Clubbing is not really a thing here, like people do it but they mostly go to bars and lounges to party."
Chloe's eyes widen in surprise, "That's mental."
"None of my friends want to go clubbing here which I think is insane, I've only been a handful of times since moving out here." I run a hand through my hair. "I'm trying to live my best life before I have baby number two."
"Baby number two?" She raises a brow at me. "Since when did we start talking about baby number two?"
I shrug my shoulders, "I'm just saying."
"Your baby is only a year old so enjoy this time before you start popping more out." Chloe gives me a look. "How are things going with the hubby?"
"Better." I slowly nod my head. "We are working towards being a better unit and I am learning to forgive him for the infidelity."
