Luxe Lopez dropped out of a project that she was working on with Juan so I was called in to replace her. We recorded two songs six months ago but we never got round to recording the music videos which we planned to make into a short film because of the affair.
The affair ended our marriage so everything that we had been working on together was put on the backburner. Juan is working on releasing another studio album so his label is demanding that we finish the project or it will get shelved indefinitely.
These are the first Spanish speaking songs that I have recorded so I am pretty excited to put it out there for the world to hear. I already know that people will have a lot to say because I'm not Latina but this was a fun project and I won't let anyone put a downer on my mood.
"Don't laugh." Juan calls out from his dressing room and I giggle to myself. "If you laugh then I'm not going out there."
"I won't laugh." I lie as I lightly push on the door that he is blocking. "Babe, let me in."
Juan moves away from the door as I push my way in before slamming it shut once I'm inside and locking it. My eyes widen as I take in his appearance which looks better than anticipated.
"I'll strangle you." He laughs as I bite down on my bottom lip to stop myself from laughing.
"It's better than what I anticipated." I can't help the giggle that leaves my lips as he throws his arms around me.
The song was recorded during the time that Juan had short blonde hair so he was told that he would have to cut off his hair for the music video. Juan has been growing out his hair for a while which I find really sexy and he seems to love it so he has refused to shave his head.
There is a theme to this album hence why he needed to have that same appearance so they called in a wig specialist to give him the appearance that he needed to look the way he did six months ago. I was expecting some Tyler Perry type shit but the wig actually looks realistic.
"I cried like a bitch when they started braiding my hair down." Juan confesses while blushing. "It hurt like hell and took more than two hours to get it really tiny so the wig would lay flat on my head."
