"I tried one of those the other day, they don't taste anything like gnocchi. What are they?" Isaac asked when he saw that Victoria was grabbing the jar and she looked at him, as she took off the lid and she popped one in her mouth, chewing it fully and she was shaking her head.

"They aren't gnocchi. You really don't want to know what they are." She said as she screwed the lid back on quickly and she put the jar back into the fridge.

"That makes me want to know even more now. Just tell me, would you?" He asked and Victoria sighed.

"They are human pineal glands from the center of our brains." Victoria said and at the words, Isaac looked disgusted and Victoria nodded a little bit. "I told you." She said and shut the fridge door. "Hey, Der, you have any luck with that supplier?" She asked and she had been there for almost six full days already and she only had a single gland left.

"Yeah." Derek opened the door to the loft and there was a human woman in the doorway. "Melissa McCall, meet Victoria." He said and Melissa looked over at Victoria, who smiled a little at the sight of her.

"So, you eat pineal glands?" The older woman asked and Victoria was nodding. "Luckily for you, I have far too many bodies in the hospital morgue, who aren't exactly going to be using them anymore." Melissa held up a massive bag full of them, as Victoria's eyes glowed at the sight of them all. "This is enough for well over a month, but only if you have a maximum of three a day." She said and Victoria nodded. "All right then. Once you run out or get down to two days' worth, come and find me at Beacon Memorial and, I can get you more." Melissa explained.

"Thanks Mrs. McCall." Victoria said and Melissa nodded quickly, and she handed over the bag and Victoria was putting it into the fridge with tape all over it, reading her name. Victoria ate the last one in her jar, as, Victoria was cleaning the jar out and Melissa went back to the hospital. "Thanks Derek."

"No problem, kid. I honestly never thought that I'd ever see someone that excited about pineal glands." Derek said as Victoria laughed at the words and she shrugged.

"I'm part lion, I mean... What can I say?" She asked and Derek smiled a little, as Victoria shut the fridge with her foot. "So, Casey, she got an APB put out on the quartet of Erica, Boyd, Tye and Dad?" Victoria clarified and Derek nodded. "Lovely. I really hope that Dad's okay." She murmured and Derek sighed.

"Your dad is one of the toughest and strongest fighters, that I've ever seen in my life. If they actually did manage to catch him, Tori, then he wasn't going down without a fight. I would imagine that some of those alphas had wounds to remember after that fight."

"Good point." Victoria murmured and she brought out her claws on one of her hands and she was looking at the extremely sharp claws on each finger.

"Also, you have to go to school." She looked at Derek with wide eyes and he sighed. "Your Mom would want you to go and so would Kit, if he was here to tell us that." Derek knew her parents well and Victoria sighed.

"Fine. But can I do online?" Victoria asked and Derek growled very quietly at the words, as Victoria grinned. "I won't be a pain." She said and he was nodding. "Thanks, Uncle D!" She said and gave him a big hug.

"Oof." Derek mumbled.

"While you two are adorable, don't we have some pack members to find?" The duo could always trust Isaac to ruin a mood and Victoria, she was quickly finding out as she turned and glared straight at him with a low growl.
