"Derek!" Victoria shouted and she jumped at her uncle, who caught her with a grin on his face and she buried her head into his shoulder with a small sob.

Casey smiled at the happy reunion and she was casually leaning against the open doorway, as Tye swiftly was joining the hug. Victoria's phone was beeping and she looked down at it.

"Sorry." She said and Casey chuckled at her. "What's so funny, C?" Victoria asked and Casey was shaking her head.

"You're finally acting like a normal teenager." Casey pointed out as the teenage were-lion growled at her, as she took off running. "I was really, really worried about her." She said as Tye and Derek looked at her. "I was worried that she would have some of the same things, same thoughts that Kit did. You guys remember what he tried to do?" Casey asked and while Derek nodded, Tye was shaking his head.

"You never told me the story." Tye reminded her and Casey sighed at the words.

"Kit threw himself off the Lookout Point when we were in high school. He was trying to end it and if Laura hadn't gotten him to Deaton in time, then that kid would not be here." Casey said and being entirely focused on the story of Kit's accident, they failed to notice the ears that were nearby and listening.

Victoria was standing behind the doorway and she was shaking her head briefly, before she was running off after Stiles Stilinski had called her up yet again, for the fifteenth time in two hours.

"What the hell is this about?" She asked as she caught up to Scott and Stiles, who were both looking at each other with suspicion in their eyes. "I just wanted to get a good night's sleep, but you called me fifteen times. This had better be good, Stiles, I'm freaking exhausted." She said.

"It is." Stiles held up a drill in each hand and Victoria smirked at the sight of them as she took one and the three of them, they got quickly to work as a team on Coach's office.

"SON OF A BITCH!"

The next day, Victoria didn't even have to use her extra-sharp hearing to hear Coach Finstock's scream at the clattering of objects, quickly crashing down on the floor and she chuckled at the sound.

"Whoops." She murmured quietly as she was sitting in her science class as across the school, she could hear the insanity happening in the Economics classroom with Coach's rant.

Right up until she heard sirens coming from outside and her eyes widened at the sound, until she heard a familiar voice.

"V, can you hear me?"

Victoria saw that Casey was now looking at her through the classroom window and she barely moved her head in a nearly imperceptible nod of her head.

"There is a dangerous criminal on the loose right now. His name, is William Barrow and he was put into prison for walking onto a bus with a shrapnel bomb. He killed four teenagers and left the fifth with no legs."

Victoria was extremely confused by what this had to do with her and then at the sight of her confusion, Casey sighed.

"Barrow went onto that school bus with a bomb, to kill kids with glowing eyes."

Victoria gulped at the words and almost unconsciously, her eyes began to glow and she clamped them shut at the realization, that she had briefly just lost her control.
