"3x13: Anchors"

"If anyone gives you trouble, what do you tell them?" Casey asked Victoria a smile on her face, as they finished their morning training session.

"Get a warrant." Victoria replied and Casey laughed at her. "That wasn't the right answer, was it?"

"Nope. But it sure was a funny one from you." Casey replied as she was shaking her head. "Now, go take a shower and get ready for school, all right? I'll drive you today." She said.

"Thanks Aunt Casey." Victoria said and threw her arms around Casey for a hug, and Casey laughed a little bit at her.

"Sure thing kiddo, you smell." Casey said and Victoria laughed at her and Casey looked over at her, watching as Victoria was bounding up the stairs as Casey smiled after her.

Casey looked down at the triskele necklace that Tye had gotten fixed for her after Jennifer had torn it apart for the first time. Right next to the small triskele charm was the ring, that had been in the envelope from Derek and Tye, in it.

Engraved with the triskele symbol on all sides, and she was able to trace the biggest one on the ring with her finger and she was swiftly shaking her head at the sight of it.

Casey swiftly tucked it back into her shirt and she heard the water running upstairs and quickly, she made herself another cup of coffee. Victoria came down the stairs and she was dressed in a hoodie and a pair of blue jeans at the moment, while Casey was smiling a little at her.

"What are you smiling at?" Victoria questioned and Casey chuckled a bit before she just shook her head. "I'm serious, what are you smiling at?" She asked.

"You just look like your mother more and, more, every day." Casey said and she grabbed her badge and her gun off of the nearby table. "Let's get you to school before you're late." She said and Victoria nodded swiftly.

Casey drove up to the school and she looked over at Victoria, who looked increasingly nervous and Casey sighed. "You'll be okay. Scott, Stiles, Allison, and Lydia, they will all be right there with you." She reminded Victoria, who was nodding and she grabbed her backpack quickly and she quickly got out of the car before she lost her nerve.

Victoria walked towards the school and quite literally, she ran into Scott's back. "Whoa, take it easy there Victoria." Scott said and she was quietly growling a bit at him, but she fell silent at the multitude of noises all around them. "You okay?" He asked.

"It's just a whole lot of noise." She murmured softly and Lydia looked at her with sympathy in her eyes. "It hurts." She said and Lydia reached out a hand and gently squeezed her hand around hers.

"Here." Stiles held out to her, a pair of rather battered, expensive-looking headphones and Victoria raised her eyebrows at him with clear suspicion in her eyes. "I took them from Casey at the station, yesterday." He said as she hooked up the Bluetooth and took the headphones, slipping them on and over her ears and music began to play in them.

"Can you still hear us?" Scott asked quietly as he looked at Victoria, whose nod was clear.

"Think of your hearing and then, if you times it by a hundred, in terms of sensitivity. My hearing and my sight, my strength and speed? It's all much more heightened than yours, and that is even despite your alpha senses."
