"How is he?" Derek asked as Casey and Victoria had come out of Beacon Memorial Hospital, as soon as they were able to get an update on Stiles' well being.

"Sleeping it off." Casey replied as she was shaking her head. "Thanks, Tori, for getting me up and off my ass." She said and Victoria scoffed.

"Off of your ass? Casey, how many people have you saved in this town and how many hours of sleep, have you lost over your job?" Victoria asked and Casey was shaking her head. "It wouldn't kill you to miss a day." Victoria said and Casey scoffed.

"I'll miss a day, when I'm retired or dead." Casey had a very pessimistic outlook on life and everyone looked at each other. "Kidding, honestly. Dry and dark humor, equals to me needing to get a lot more sleep as usual." Casey said and now, she was quickly rubbing her eyes.

"So, do you think that he was just sleepwalking? Or, is there maybe a thing or somethin' more to it?" That was Aiden with the question and they all looked at each other knowingly.

"In this town, there is always something more." Derek stated with an absolutely certain tone of voice as he attached the jumper cables to his engine and Casey popped the hood on the old, busted-up Jeep.

"What if I told you that I know something more?" Aiden asked and Victoria turned around to look at him with her eyebrows lifting up, as Derek and Casey, they just both look rather skeptical about it. "I kind of overheard... Well, I listened in on Stiles talking to Scott. How he thinks that he was the one that wrote that message in the Chemistry classroom. The message that was coded, that one, that was telling Barrow to kill Kira." Aiden said.

"You think that Stiles, skinny, defenseless, Stiles is the Nogitsune? A powerful, dark spirit?" Derek asked in an all-too skeptical tone of voice.

"Uncle Derek, it actually makes sense." Victoria interrupted and her uncle, he looked over at her. "A fox, a kitsune... By laws of nature, you can't have more than one set of DNA in you at a time, it's not possible." She said as Derek's eyebrows lifted.

"Of course." Casey had caught up to the conversation and she looked over at Victoria. "He... Sorry, it can't fully possess another supernatural being, unless it's a fox." She said.

"Because the supernatural DNA of their other animal, would weaken the fox and weaken the body, forcing it either to die or to leave the system, if it doesn't want to die." Victoria said as they looked at Derek, who nodded. "It can't possess anyone else."

"Not anyone else in the supernatural part of the pack, anyways." Casey said and they all looked at her. "It could possess me, but the willpower to resist it will always help." She said.

"You're saying that the reason that it hasn't possessed you yet... Is, because you haven't given up?" Victoria asked.

"Also, probably... Because I didn't go through an ancient ritual pseudo sort of a sacrifice to reawaken the magical stump known as the Nemeton." Casey said.

"Why are you here?" Kira asked as Victoria was already in the power sub station.

"Derek's my uncle." Kira's eyebrows raised and she was instantly looking between the two of them, looking for a resemblance. "I look more like my dad, but, I've got the Hale eyes." She explained and her tail was whipping through the air.

"You, you have a tail!" Kira exclaimed and Victoria looked down at her tail, as she sighed.

"Yeah, I'm not a werewolf, like the rest of my family on my mom's side and like Derek is. I'm a werelion, so, yes... I have a tail." Victoria said and she sighed. "Uncle D, what the hell is that?" She asked as she swiftly nodded down onto the floor at a rather, sort of a weird-looking trail on the floor.

"Is that, a-a baseball bat?" Kira asked and Victoria looked over at the electrical box.

"It's Stiles' bat." Derek said and he looked at Victoria, whose arm shot out and grabbed onto his. "Hey, it's okay Tori." He said as she was shaking her head.

"Something... Something here, it just feels wrong." She said and Derek was looking down at her.

"I feel it too. Just let go, just for one second. All right?" Derek asked and Victoria was shaking, before she was nodding and she let him go.

Derek had to actually use his werewolf strength to pull the baseball bat off of the metal and it was soon enough, just back against the metal.

"Uncle Derek?" Victoria asked as she was shuddering as her tail was tucked between her legs, a classic symbol of fear for any animal and she shivered a bit.

"Come on." Derek murmured and Victoria ducked under his arm to stay next to his side and she was clearly scared, but of what, nobody could tell and he looked at her. "Let's go and tell Scott, what we know." He said and she was sticking next to him and Kira was following them.

"I don't know if I should go in. You are going to tell Scott that Barrow might have used foxfire created by me to jump start the Nogitstune's power inside of Stiles." Kira said.

"Yeah." Derek replied as Victoria got out of the vehicle.

"Basically telling him, that, I helped a dark spirit take control of his best friend." Kira said and Derek realized soon after.

"Yeah, you should probably wait here." Derek said as Victoria was following him into the hospital. "Hey, are you okay?" Derek asked as he was catching her by the arm as she looked up at him.

"I don't... I don't know what's happening to me, Uncle Derek, it's scaring me." She said quietly and he was looking at her, before he hugged her tightly. "I can't... I don't, I don't know why this is happening to me, Uncle D, it's terrifying." She said and he held her tighter as she buried her head into his jacket and she started to cry.

"You're not losing me too. You're doing what I did. You were burying your grief, your pain, everything that you were feeling. You buried it and... I can see why it's happening, you're not able to push it down anymore. Your emotions are flooding." Derek said as she was clutching his jacket tightly as she was unwilling to let him go. "I'm not leaving, Tori, I swear." Derek said softly and she was nodding.

Derek tackled Victoria hard down onto the rooftop and they were hitting the ground, as they were avoiding the live-wire, that was swinging around the rooftop of the hospital.
