Victoria was shaking her head as she was catching up to Liam, trying to just keep him from Scott and Stiles' attention but unfortunately, she got there too late.

"Damn it, you idiots." Victoria said as she caught up to them and then, Scott was spitting out some nonsense that he must have copied from Derek.

"Can you talk to him?" Scott asked and Victoria looked at him like he was insane. "He won't listen to us at all and he seems to at least like you a bit more than us!" Scott explained.

"That would be because I didn't bite him, duct tape his limbs, put another piece over his mouth so that he could not speak or scream properly, kidnap him and then, rather stupidly tell him that he could be dead in the next one day or two." She spat out as they both looked affronted. "I'll talk to him and see... I will see if I can convince him to listen about the full moon." She said.

"Thank--" Scott tried and Victoria growled at him sharply and he was backing up quickly.

"Don't ever thank me until after the job is done." Victoria growled softly as he nodded quickly and she walked down the hallway to her first class of the day.

Victoria sensed swiftly after she had sat down, that there were eyes in the room that were on her and she slightly turned her head around to look, seeing out of her left peripheral that Liam was watching her.

Victoria snuck her phone out of her pocket as she typed quickly when the teacher wasn't looking and when she was done, swiftly pressed send as she sat on her phone after the fact.

"Hey, you okay?"

"They were saying that the Bite is a gift or something. How the hell is him biting me, a gift?"

"Just don't worry about it, Liam, it's best if you just forget that it ever happened. Trust me, it'll be easier this way. I'll teach you myself if I have to."

"Teach me what?"

"How to survive this. How to survive becoming a... Becoming something else, a being that is more than just human."

"What do you mean?"

"Miss Hale," Victoria snapped her head around to look at the teacher. "Is there something that you'd like to share with the class about your family? Since that is our topic today?" Her teacher questioned.

"Uh, absolutely. Looking back at my family's branch of the Hale family tree, the only two eye colors that my family is known for are green and brown." Victoria explained and thankfully for her, she always had a fact or five on hand for her family projects. Of which, there were always quite a few to do for school.

"That's very interesting." It was Miss Krieger speaking and Victoria nodded very slightly at the words, before Victoria was going back to her sketch that was sitting on her desk.

"Can you hear me?"

Victoria hardly turned her head to Liam as she let out a nearly imperceptible nod at the words.

"How?"

"I'm a supernatural that is called a Löwenmensch or a werelion in English, remember?" She murmured softly as he nodded.
