Author's POV:
"Should I go to office now Jiminie?"
"No" came the boy's prompt reply.
"You are really the dumbest CEO I have ever seen, everyone in the company knows you married yesterday. What will they think?"
Tae frowns"It's unfair how Jungkook and his father are all busy plotting against me and here I am sitting idly in my apartment, waiting for them to make their first move."
Jimin huffs "Seriously Tae? Even after whatever he said and did today, you are still adamant that he is involved in his father's games? How can you be so naive?"
"I don't get it Jimin. Why would he go against his own father and help me?" Tae finally voiced out the question that was tormenting his mind ever since the minute Jungkook left.
Jimin was getting ready to head out to his work. Oh,
Did I forget to tell?
Jimin is a fashion designer in Bighit entertainment.
Now it makes sense why Tae would take suggestions regarding his dressing from him.
"Because his father is a Greedy Bastard and Jungkook knows this too well." Jimin replied, now taking his car keys from the table and tucking the wallet into his pants pocket.
Taehyung hummed looking lost, sitting on the couch.
Jimin sighed making his way to where Tae is sitting, patting his silverish fluffy hair in comforting manner "Tae.." he starts to say "You can trust Jungkook."
"And why are you so sure about this?" Tae asks, tilting his head to look up at his best friend.
"Because I have seen today how he looks at you"
"How he looks at me?" Tae seems bewildered, his eyes demanding a reasonable answer which eventually Jimin gave,
"Like he never wants to look away."
A foreign feeling settled in Tae's stomach at that.
Does he really look at me like that?
Jimin must be exaggerating. Yeah.
Why would Jungkook be interested into someone he was forcefully bound to?
A light click of the door pulls him back from his thoughts.
Jimin is already gone.
Tae has been living alone in his apartment for quite some time now. Yes Jimin comes here often but still he doesn't live here. So it's just Taehyung really.
Tae thought he would enjoy the liberation of being alone again.
He thought he would enjoy being in his own apartment. In his own company, after those couple of hectic days..
But why suddenly he doesn't feel alone, rather lonely?
"Fuck, do I really want to go back to his house, his room, him?"
As much as Jungkook's presence in his life confuses him. He can't deny..he feels thankful for him.
Specially after what he did today. For him.

(Later at night in Jungkook's room)
Taehyung came from the shower only to see Jungkook snuggled under the covers on the couch (it was his turn), small snores leaving the tired boy's parted mouth.
So today really exhausted him huh?
Tae thought as he sat at the edge of the bed with a small sigh, peeking at sleeping boy through his long lashes.
How he looks at me?
Like he never wants to look away.
Sometimes you meet someone and it's so clear that the two of you, on some level belong together. You meet these people throughout your life, under strangest of circumstances and you two just.. just work.
I don't know if that makes me believe in coincidence or sheer blind luck but it definitely makes me believe in something..
Taehyung found Jungkook when he is at the lowest point of his life and despite several tries of him,
Tae couldn't help admiring him. Everything about Jungkook was too good to be true.
He was so genuine. So pure. So charming.
It was hard not to like him...
Being with him in his room, as his husband now.. was
Easy and Effortless.
Not at all what Taehyung supposed it would go like..
He laid down staring at the ceiling above his head. His mind occupied with several twisting thoughts.. what will happen from tomorrow?
When Jungkook will start working as a Co-CEO alongside him..
Will Jungkook's plan work?
Flashback from Tae's apartment...
"Taehyung-ssi if it's already not obvious enough. Dad wants your company under him.. that's his sole purpose to appoint me there." Jungkook explained.
"You know I won't let it Jungkook-ssi. Your father can do everything in his power and I will do everything in my power not to let his sick plans work."
Taehyung spoke through gritted teeth, he was scared, manifesting it into anger and Jungkook squeezed his hand as if assuring him of his presence, his companionship...
"I have a plan Taehyung-ssi." Jungkook nervously voiced out. Hopeful eyes directed at Taehyung.
Jimin and Tae both looked at each. A silent conversation was held through their eyes before they turned to Jungkook nodding their heads in affirmation.
"Go on Jungkook-ssi we are all ears" Tae says.
Flashback ends......
Taehyung's chain of thoughts was disrupted by repeated coughs.
He turned around to see Jungkook coughing violently.
"What's wrong?" He asked in a hushed whisper but Jungkook seemed like he was still in deep sleep, didn't even budge.
Tae got up and poured water into the glass from the bottle that was on the nightstand.
"Jungkook" he gently nudged his shoulder to wake him up "drink water, you are coughing badly"
"Taehyung-ssi?" the boy mumbled getting up lazily and taking glass from Tae's hands.
Tae watched the sleepy boy with amusing eyes. "You can call me Taehyung" he said with a small chuckle and watched how the sleep vanished from Jungkook's doe eyes, them getting enlarged once Tae's words sank in.
"Really Taehyung-ssi!?" He asks surprise and wonder lacing his tone, the glass halting near his lips.
Kook bited his tongue once he realized what he called Tae again.
But he didn't regret it.. and how could he? when the next moment he heard those giggles from Tae that blessed his ears from their sound as well as his eyes as he watched the very person from which they came.
Jungkook's heart flutters in response.
He is hopeless when it comes to Tae.
And the staring continued, afraid the sight will be gone sooner if he blinked, memorizing the sight of him into the depths of his mind.
Just in case?
"Taehyung?"
"Hmm?"
Jungkook's voice dropped, turning raw, "You look best when you are you"
Either Jungkook was losing his mind or Tae just blushed.
