Author's POV:
The room was bathed in the soft, muted light of a cloudy morning. Outside, the sky was a blanket of grey, promising rain.
Taehyung stirred first, his eyes slowly opening to the serene sight of his husband sleeping beside him.
Weekend mornings are the best because Tae gets to wake up next to Kook, otherwise almost everyday Mr Grumps opens his eyes to an empty bed resulting in ever so grumpy mood of him that lasts until he gets to see Jungkook's face in the kitchen and mind you..resumes right after he leaves for office.
Poor Kim enterprises employs, Author's sympathy is with you, my strong soldiers!
Anyways ..back to present where brunette was laying on his side, face to face with Tae, so close their noses almost touched, while younger's both hands were folded under his chin in an adorable manner which Tae assumes must have happened sometime in the middle of night because he only remembers sleeping engulfed in his Koo's arms.
A smile crept onto Tae's lips as he witnessed the younger's peaceful expression, his dreamy features framed by tousled dark brownish hair. The events of the night before replayed in Taehyung's mind when his eyes traced the shape of Jungkook's lips, setting a feeling of longing over his own; however, at the same time his heart swelled with an overflowing joy, the reason being the remembrance of their kiss.
First kiss.
The most beautiful moment of Taehyung's life so far.
He was beyond grateful that universe bestowed him with the chance of sharing his precious first moments of pure intimacy with someone as perfect as Jungkook.
Knowing it was Jungkook's first kiss as well almost made Tae tear up last night...
To Taehyung, this contract had no significance now..He can't wait to share all his love and all his life with Jungkook and Jungkook only.
Tae's chain of thoughts broke when Koo suddenly shuffled in sleep, unconsciously turning his body away until he was on his back. Now this made Tae frown as he can no longer admire his husbunny's angelic face properly.
On the mission to find a better angle for staring, he propped himself up a little from bed, leaning his face into his hand while taking support from his elbow.
Now this is better. He thought, when the unreal view of younger's face once again blessed his line of vision.
So handsome.
Jungkook was so handsome and so Taehyung's.
As if reading Tae's thoughts, brunette's one hand went behind his head a knowing lazy smile spreading across his lips, his eyes were still close. "Staring much, mhm?"
Abruptly Taehyung lost the balance of his face on his hand after hearing that deep raspy voice. Before his body could thump back to mattress, Jungkook held him over himself by snaking a magnificently strong arm around the magnificently small waist. Taehyung's both hands automatically coming to rest on Jungkook's chest.
