Chapter 6: Too Late

I looked at my friend, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I still did in fact just seem to be lost as to what he was talking about. As I knew that I was in fact a far ways away from where my home was.
As it was that I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead. And I then did in fact just seem to come back to reality all of the sudden. As I saw as to just what it was that we were in fact right in front of.
I could not forget the familiar sight that I saw right now. As it was that I then all of the sudden began to start to speak back out loud. As I knew that my friend could in fact hear as to just what it was that I was saying.
"Oh... Home..." I did in fact just seem to say to my self. As it felt like the words left a bit of a sour taste on my mouth. As I knew that this was in fact not my home, at least, not any more.
As it was that it kind of hurt me to even think on that, all at once. As I dipped my head a little bit low to the ground all of the sudden. As my friend also began to go right on ahead and speak back to me, as well. As it was that I turned my head over to him.
As it was that I saw he had a bit of a sad look on his face. As I just did my best to try to keep my self calm. As I then did listen as to just what ever it was that he had to say back to me, all at the exact same time as well.
"Come on Kevin... Let's go ahead and go check on them..." He did in fact just seem to say to me. As it was that my eyes did in fact still just seem to be wide, all at once.
As it was that I kind of felt a bit scared as to what we were about to do. As I knew that the last time that I had in fact spoken to my parents. It had not ended all too well for me what so ever, all at the exact same time too.
I seemed to recall the memory in my head all of the sudden. As it was that I remembered the last words I had said to them. Before it was that I had in fact ran off from home.
"I'm tired of you trying to control me! I am a grown cat now! I hate you! Don't expect to ever see me again!" I did in fact just seem to have said. As I did in fact kind of wince a bit to my self as I had thought back on that.
As I wished that I had in fact not said as to what it was that I had said. As it did in fact just seem to scare me more than ever, none the less. As I now knew as to just what it was that was going on with them now.
I felt like my wish my actually come true, at that. As I did in fact just seem to continue to dip my head low to the ground. As it was that Dust came close to me to try to warm me up.
As it was that he did in fact also go on and speak to me. As it was that I looked up to him all of the sudden. And I then listened as to just what ever it was that he had to say, all at the exact same time as well.
"Hey... Don't worry... Just don't think too much on it... You are here now... And that is all that matters... Now let's go in Kevin..." He did in fact say to me. As he had a very serious look on his face as he had said what he had said.
It was clear that he was in fact trying to wake me back up to reality. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to let out a rough sigh. As it was that I then began to also go on ahead and speak back to him as well.
As it was that I saw that his eyes were in fact right on me. As it was in fact clear to me, all at the exact same time as well. That he was in fact listening as to just what it was that I had to say to him, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
"You are right... Let's go..." I did in fact say back to my friend. As I had a very serious look on my face as well. Just as soon as it was that I had said what I had said back to him.
As soon as it was that my friend did in fact seem to realize it was the case. That was when it was that I then began to start to see my friend. As it was that he went right up to the front of the old two leg place.
As he then began to also start to speak up loud to who it was that was in fact in side of there just now. As it was that I did my best to try to act as calm as I felt like I could. As I then listened as to just what it was that he had to say just now, at that.
"Oak! Pride! It is Dust! I am here with your son, Kevin!" He did in fact just seem to say to who it was that was in side of there. As I let out a bit of a gentle sigh to try to calm my self down all of the sudden.
As it was that I began to start to get a bit worried, all at once. As to the fact that it did in fact seem like no one was in fact in there to respond. As I began to start to fear that it was, that it might be too late.
As it was that I then began to start to suddenly, all at once. Begin to hear the familiar voice of an older tom cat from in side. As I then began to listen as to what it was that my father Oak, did in fact have to say to me, all at the exact same time too.
"Oh... Come in... I was worried..." He did in fact just seem to say. As it was that he seemed to have wanted to have said some more at that. As to the fact that I felt like he was going to say he was worried that I wouldn't show up, all at once.
But he didn't even seem to get to have the chance to say that. As he then did in fact just seem to start to cough out loud, all at the exact same time too. As it was a very rough and quite a bit of a scary cough, all at once.
As it was that I had just seemed to have stood there and stared. As my eyes were in fact very wide as I did as such a thing like that. I then suddenly heard the gentle voice of my friend Dust, all at once.
As I turned my head right on over to him suddenly. As I heard him go and speak to me, at that. As I then began to listen as to just what it was that he had to say to me in the very first place as well.
"Alright Kevin... Let's go in..." He did in fact just seem to say to me. As I saw that he had quite a bit of a serious look on his face just now. Just as soon as it was that he had said as to just what it was that he had said to me.
It was clear to me that he was trying to act calm him self, at that. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to nod on over to him. As it was that I also began to start to speak back on over to him after doing so.
My friend just seemed to stare at me, all at once. As he had quite a bit of a blank look on his face as he did so. As he then listened as to just what it was that I had to say to him, all at the exact same time as well.
"Alright... Let's go... You first..." I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I did in fact just seem to be scared as to what it was that I was in fact about to go and walk in on.
As it was that I just seemed to continue to stare at my friend. As he then did in fact just seem to turn his head away from me. As it was that he went through the entrance of the place, all of the sudden.
As it was that he had in fact just seemed to have squeezed through the hole. I then began to start to do the same thing that he had just done. As it was that I did in fact just seem to walk through the hole my self.
As it was that I walked in to a dank and dark place, at that. As it was that I kind of cringed up as I did in fact do as such a thing like that. As I did my best to just try to act as calm and as normal as I felt like I could.
As it was that I also then began to just start to speak to my self quietly after I did such a thing like that. As it was that my friend looked at me with his eyes wide. As he also began to just start to listen as to what it was that I had to say to my self.
"It never gets old huh?" I did in fact just seem to say. As it was in fact a lot of the reason that it was that I had wanted to move out of here so badly. I just did in fact not seem to under stand how my parents could live in a place as nasty as this one.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to go on and stare for some more time, at that. Dust then just seemed to shake his head back on over to me. As it was that he also began to start to speak right back on over to me.
As it was that I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I could. As it was that I stared at my friend with my eyes wide. As I then also began to just listen as to what it was that he had to say, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
"Come on Kevin... Don't worry about that... There's more important things right now..." He did in fact just seem to say to me. As he had a very serious look on his face just now.
Just as soon as it was that he had in fact even just said what he had said. As it was that I knew that he was in fact right with that, all at once. As I once again then did in fact just seem to nod, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I let out a bit of a rough sigh to my self. As it was that I then began to just start to follow my friend over to my parents room. Which was where it was that I had heard my father speak back to us from.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to go right on ahead, all at once. As I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I could. I did in fact speak much more quiet, as I did in fact talk to my self, all at once.
"Well... Here we go..." I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that we did in fact just seem to go down the long hall way, all of the sudden. As it was that I did in fact just seem to go and see that we were now at the front of the room.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stared there. That was when it was that Dust then did in fact just seem to stop him self. As it was that he then just seemed to also go right on ahead and look at me.
As it was that I did my best to just try to act as calm as I could. As he also began to start to go on ahead and talk. As I did in fact listen as to just what it was that the tom cat did in fact have to say to me, all at once.
"Alright Kevin... You should go in first..." He did in fact just seem to say. As I knew that he was in fact right with just what it was that he had in fact said to me as well.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to go on ahead and gulp. As it was that I also did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I could. As I then began to start to continue to go right on ahead.
And I then did in fact just seem to stand there and stare. As it was that I just did in fact just seem to close my eyes all of the sudden. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to go on ahead and speak back to him.
As it was that I saw that my friends eyes were wide as I did so. As it was clear to me that he was trying to keep him self calm. As he did in fact listen as to just what it was that I did in fact have to say to him.
"Thank you for being here Dust..." I did in fact just seem to say to my friend. As it was that I had a very serious look on my face just now. Just as soon as it was that I had in fact just said as to just what it was that I had in fact even said to him.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to stand there and continue to stare. As it was that he also began to just start to nod back to me. As it was that he also began to start to speak back to me shortly after that.
As it was that he had done as such a thing like that. I continued to stare at him right in to his eyes of course. As I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he had to say, all at once.
"Of course Kevin... You are my best friend... We have been through so much together... Now we must battle through this..." He said. As he had a bit of a sad smile on his face.
As I wondered as to just what it was that he was thinking about. As it was that I simply blinked my eyes a few times all of the sudden. As I quickly got my mind and my focus off of all of it either way.
As it was that I then began to start to see that it was. That my friend was in fact going in to the room that my father was in. As I let out a bit of a soft sigh to my self, as it was that I then began to just follow him.
Once it was that I had done as such a thing like that. I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I could possibly do. As I then did in fact also speak to my self a little bit under my own breate.
"Relax... This will all be just fine..." I did in fact just seem to say. Though I did in fact gulp just as soon as it was that I had said what I had said to my self. As I was not all too sure if it was that I had in fact believed what I had said.
Either way, I felt like it was best to try to not think too much on it. As it was that we then did in fact walk right in to the room that my father was in. As it had the same nasty smell that I was so used to living here.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I could. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to see that my father was in fact in the corner. And he was in fact balled up, and shivering, all at the exact same time too.
I was not all too sure as to just why it was in fact the case. As I knew that it was actually fairly hot in here. As I just then began to start to go right on ahead and speak to my father, all at the exact same time too.
"Dad... I'm here... It's Kevin..." I did in fact just seem to say to him. As my eyes were in fact wide, just as soon as I had said what I had said. As I saw that my father then all of the sudden began to turn his head right on over to me, all at once.
As it was that he had done as such a thing like that. I was worried that he was in fact going to be upset at me. Such as it was that I knew that he had in fact been that one night.
As I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I could. As I was surprised to see that it was in fact not the case. As I saw that he in stead had a little bit of a sad smile on his face.
As it was that I had in fact began to have seen it was the case. That was when it was that I then did in fact start to hear him speak back to me. As it was that I then began to start to listen as to just what it was that he had to say to me just now.
"Oh... Kevin... It's great to see you one last time... I'm so glad you came... I was scared..." He said. As he dipped his head a little bit low to the ground, at that.
As it was a bit of a surprise to me as to just what it was that he had said to me right now. As it was that I knew that he was not a cat to be one to want to show fear. As my eyes did in fact just seem to be wide, just as soon as he had said what he had said.
As it was that I had in fact kind of heard as to what he had said. I then just seemed to dip my head a bit low to the ground. As I felt quite a bit guilty as to what was going on, as if this was all some how my fault.
I just seemed to continue to stare right below my self. As it was that I then began to simply just start to speak back to my father. As it was that I knew that he was in fact listening as to just what it was that I had to say to him, all at the exact same time too.
"It's okay... I am here now... I am sorry about every thing..." I did in fact just seem to say to him. As I felt a bit sick as to the way that it was that I had in fact left them.
As I was in fact glad to know that at least I had it back to say that I was in fact sorry. As I knew that as much as it was that I had in fact been upset with them. I knew that I did in fact still love my parents, at that.
As it was that I had just seemed to stare there and continue to look at him. That was when it was that Dust seemed to start to step up and speak. As I looked at him, and listened as to just what it was that he had to say, all at the exact same time too.
"Where is Pride?" He did in fact just seem to say to my father. As I saw that he did in fact have his head tilted a bit lost as to where my mother was at, all at once. As I knew that Dust was in fact quite a bit fond of my mother.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stared at Dust. I then did in fact just seem to shake my head a little bit on over to him. As I also then began to start to speak back to my friend.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to see him look at me. As his eyes were wide as he did as such a thing. As he did listen as to just what it was that I had to say to him, all at the exact same time as well.
"I am sure she is out hunting... They have to eat some how..." I did in fact say to my friend. As my eyes were in fact wide, just as soon as I had said what I had said to him.
Dust seemed to be happy and content with what it was that I had said. As I just seemed to calm my self down all at once. As I began to turn my head on over to my father.
As it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that. I saw my father had his head quite a bit low to the ground. As I could tell that he was in fact in quite a bit of some pain right now, none the less.
He then began to speak right back on over to us, at that. As it was that I felt a bit scared, as I felt like I already knew what he was about to say. As I then did listen as to just what ever it was that he had to say, all at the exact same time as well.
"I'm sorry... Your mother passed away Kevin..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As my heart did in fact just seem to stop, just as soon as it was that he had said what he had said.
Every thing around me did in fact just seem to freeze up, all at once. As I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should do. Or what it was that I was even thinking about, all at the exact same time too.
I just seemed to stare out in to the empty darkness. As that was what it was that I seemed to feel in side. As I then began to start to speak out loud, as well, not even all too sure what I was about to say.
"No... It's all my fault... I was too late..."
