Chapter 28: For The Night

It was that time of the night, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I knew that the rest of the clan was not at all too happy with me right now. Not just due to the fact that I had not let any of them come with us.
As it was that I knew that a lot of them still did have friends in some of the other clans. But also as to the fact that it was, at that. That they were upset that I had let DustEyes come, as he was in fact my deputy.
I still felt that kind of way, even if no one else did. As it was that I did in fact just seem to close my eyes at that thought, as well. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to speak to my self gently, shortly after I had in fact done as such.
"It's fine... I made the right choice... I don't want any fights..." I did in fact just seem to say, at that. As it was that I had in fact wondered if that was in fact true, at that.
As it was that I knew that DustEyes liked to instigate a lot of the fights at the gatherings. As it was that I just then did in fact open my eyes. And I did in fact look right at him, to see that his eyes were wide, as he did in fact stare right back at me.
As it was that we seemed to stand there and stare at each other. As it did in fact just seem to feel like it was in fact lasting for ever. That was when it was that I began to hear the voice of HeartPump, at that.
"Are you 2 coming, or not?" He did in fact just seem to say to us. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to turn my head towards the medicine cat, all of the sudden.
As it was that I just seemed to stand there and stare for some time. I then in the end, eventually began to go right on ahead. And I saw that DustEyes was not too happy with the tom cat, as I knew they didn't like each other.
I did my best to try to keep the both of them calm, at that. Before it was that things did in fact get out of paw. As I then went right on ahead and began to speak back to him.
"Yeah... Sorry... I just don't know what it is that I will say..." I did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As it was that I had a very serious look on my face, just as I had said that.
As it was almost as if I was looking to the tom cat for advice. As I suppose that was what it was that he was supposed to be good for. As it was that I stared right in to his eyes for quite a bit of some time.
He either didn't seem to realize as to that being the case. Or he simply did in fact not seem to care at all. As he did in fact blink his eyes a few times, and he then began to go and speak back to me shortly after.
"Well... I guess you should go ahead and get to thinking..." He did in fact just seem to say to me. As it was that he then did in fact just seem to turn his head away from me.
And he did in fact continue to go on ahead with just what he had in fact been doing before. Which was of course continue taking us through the Riverclan land. As I winced at the nasty stench that was every where, all at the exact same time too.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I could. As I just seemed to stand there and stare for a little bit longer. As I just then did in fact seem to hear the voice of DustEyes as he spoke to me.
"I think it is simple what you need to say to the other clans... I know you might not want my advice... But just tell them that the ShadowClan is doing just fine... Every thing is going great here..." He did in fact just seem to say to me, at that.
As it was that he had a very serious look on his face as well. Just as it was that he had in fact said what it was that he had just said to me. As I kind of felt like he might even have a very fair point on that, as well.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have thought on that. That was when it was that I then did in fact go right on ahead and nod back to him. As it was that I also began to speak back to him shortly after.
"Thank you DustEyes... You are always reliable..." I did in fact just seem to say to him, all at once. As it was that I just then did in fact seem to continue to stand there and stare for just a little bit more time.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that of course. My friend did in fact go on ahead and nod back to me. As he also then seemed to smile back at me, after all of that.
As it was that he had in fact done as such a thing like that of course. I then also began to start to continue to see him turn his head away. As he then began to start to speak to me as he had his head turned.
"Alright... Let's follow HeartPump, and get to the island... Let's just get this over with..." He did in fact just seem to say to me, all at once. As he had his eyes wide, as he seemed to have a very serious look on his own face, just as he had said what he had said.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. I then did in fact also just seem to go and nod right back on over to him. As it was that I then began to follow as to just where he was in fact taking us.
As it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that. I also began to go and speak a bit quiet to my self, just as I had done as such a thing like that. As it was that I made sure that no one could hear what I had to say.
"Alright... We will get this over with, and maybe next time I will bring the cats with us..." I did in fact just seem to say to my self. As I kind of felt a bit bad as to the fact that I had not brought my clan with me.
But at the same time as well, I knew I had made the right move. As it was that I then did in fact go on ahead and just seem to shake my head. And I then did in fact get my focus on to the fact that it was, that we were now going across the bridge.
As it was that we seemed to do as such a thing like that. I did in fact seem to see a young tom cat on the other side, as he watched us. As I realized it to be KettleStars son, as that was of course WildEyes.
As it was that I realized that it was in fact the case. I then did in fact just seem to breathe in quite a bit of a rough sigh to my self. And I also began to go and start to hear the tom cat start to speak up very loud.
"ShadowClan is here! We can start the gathering now!" He did in fact just seem to say. As it was clear to me that we were in fact the last clan to show up for all of this. As it felt like it should be to no surprise to me what so ever, that it was in fact the case.
As it was that I just then nodded to my self, all at once. As it was clear that the tom cat was in fact a little bit worried for what ever reason. Which did in fact just seem to confuse me quite a bit, as to why it was the case.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there and stare. In the end, I also then began to start to calm my self down quite a bit. As it was that I then went on ahead and began to start to nod to my self.
As I had done as such a thing like that of course. I then began to go and speak to my self quietly, all at once. As it was that I felt like I didn't want any one to hear what I was thinking.
"Well... Here we go again..." I did in fact just seem to say to my self. As it was that just as it was that we had in fact gone across the bridge. I saw a lot of cats look at us with some ugly looks on their faces.
As well as the guilty looks on the faces of the Thunderclan cats. As I felt like I could not help but to feel a little bit guilty my self. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to dip my head a little bit low to the ground.
As it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time as well. That was when it was that I just seemed to wake my self up. And I noticed that DustEyes had his head held high for what ever reason.
I was a little bit lost as to just what it was that was going on. As I looked at DustEyes, just as it was that I heard an angry voice shout out from the crowd. That I was not too sure as to just who it was, as I listened to them.
"Why would you let that evil cat in to this gathering! He should be gone! He is lucky that he hasn't been killed!" He did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I looked over in that direction with an angry look on my face.
But through all the cats in the crowd, I could not see who it was. As it was that I did my best to try to act as calm as I felt like I could. As I looked at my friend, wondering if he had heard what it was that I had heard.
If he had, than it didn't seem to bother him what so ever. As it was that he just seemed to continue to walk with his head held high. As to just where it was that he was going to go and sit below me at the tall rock.
As it was that I had just seemed to stand there and stare. As I felt like I was stuck in place for just a little bit of some time, at that. That was when it was that I heard the not so happy voice of MoonStar, all at once.
"NettleStar... Are you going to join up with the leaders up here, or not?" He did in fact just seem to say. As it was clear that they were all trying to get all of this started, all at once.
As it was that it then did in fact just seem to be the case. I then did in fact go right on ahead and start to lift my head back up to the other leaders. As I just seemed to stare at all of them with my eyes wide.
I just seemed to be a little bit lost for just a little bit of some time. Until it was that I then got my eyes on to my mate, SummerStar. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to see that she had a smile on her face.
As I realized that it was in fact the case my self, all at once. I felt like I could not help but to go and smile right back at her. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to and speak back to MoonStar, shortly after that.
"Yeah... Sorry... I'm coming..." I did in fact just seem to say. As I dipped my head to the WindClan leader. As it was that I had in fact said what I had in fact said to him in response.
Just as it was that I had done as such a thing like that of course. That was when it was that I went right on ahead all of the sudden. And I then began to start to climb up on top of the tall rock with the rest of the leaders.
As I made it to the top, all at the exact same time as well. All of the leaders just seemed to stare at me with their eyes wide, at that. Except for MoonStar, as he just seemed to have his eyes squinted at me for what ever reason or another.
Either way, it did in fact just seem to make me gulp just a little bit. As it was that I then did in fact go right on ahead all at once. And I then began to start to hear MoonStar start to step up on top of the tall rock.
"Alright... The gathering seems to have begun with out ShadowClans cats... So I will go ahead and get this started then..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at once, at that.
As it was that I was a little bit worried that he might say some thing bad about me at first. But he simply did in fact not seem to do as such a thing like that what so ever. As it was that he just did in fact seem to have his focus on gettung all of this started.
I felt okay with that, if I wasn't going to lie to my self either. As I felt like I was a little bit worried that DustEyes might get upset at MoonStar firing shots at me right now. But it was clear that he was not doing as such a thing.
As I saw that he was just simply licked at his paws, all at once. Almost as if it was that he could care less to be here right now. As I just seemed to speak to my self a little bit under my breathe, all at once.
"I guess that's better than fighting..." I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I also kind of shivered as to just what I had said. As I was not all too sure if that was really a good thing or not, at all.
Either way, I just did my best to get my mind and my focus off of all of that as soon as I could. As I then did in fact go right on ahead, all at once. And I then began to start to hear MoonStar speak up once again.
"After the war that happened a few moons ago... WindClan is now fully healed and doing better than ever... As you can see by OwlThroat..." I did in fact just seem to hear him say, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to look at MoonStars friend. As I did in fact just seem to stare right at his deputy. As it was that I noticed that the cat seemed to luckily be back in to some good shape.
I felt a little bit relieved as to that being the case, all at once. As I always hated all of the jokes that DustEyes had made about all of that. As I remember hearing him say one time.
"OwlThroat! More like cut his throat!" He had said to me. As it had not been funny at all to me what so ever. As he had almost killed a very good cat for no apparent reason.
It was the reason that had in fact made me stop the attacks on the other clans, all at once. As I realized as to just how bad it was that I was doing. As it did in fact just seem to make me dip my head a bit low to the ground.
I seemed to stand there and stare below me for some time. As it was that it did in fact just seem to be to me. That I was in fact lost in my thoughts of course. That was until I continued to hear the voice of MoonStar speak up.
"It has been a nice time of year for us other wise... We are healthy, and our belly's are full!" He did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As it was that he had a genuine smile on his face, just as it was that he had said that.
As it was that the tom cat had in fact said what he had said. That was when it was that I also began to start to see him turn his head right back on over to me, at that. As it was that he seemed to nod back to the other leaders.
It was clear that he was letting all of us know that he was done. And that he was letting some one else go up and speak up to every one. As it was that I just seemed to blink my eyes as soon as it was the case.
I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I was going to say just yet. As I was happy to see PiperStar go on ahead and speak up. As it was that I was in fact still a little bit worried as to what the tom cat had to say.
"We are recovering well from the war as well... Our clan is fully fed just as WindClan... We are making our home our home again..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at once.
As it was that I saw him turn his head on over to me. As to just what it was that he had in fact said at that last part, none the less. As it was clear that he was taking a shot at me, all at the exact same time too.
I did my best to try to ignore that being the case of course. As it was that I knew that I already felt guilty enough as it was, none the less. As I just then did in fact seem to dip my head a little bit low as he walked past me.
As it was that he had done as such a thing like that of course. That was when it was that I then did in fact just seem to start to notice SummerStar go and waltz right past me. As it was that she then also began to speak up her self as she got to the front of the tall rock, none the less.
"Thunderclan is doing well too... I am expecting kits soon as well! Hopefully they will come through clean and healthy!" She did in fact just seem to say to every one, all at once.
As she pointed out the clear case that she did in fact have a very big belly, at that. As I just seemed to gulp, just as I had noticed it was the case. As I was worried that she was going to look at me just as the other leaders had in fact done.
How ever, that did in fact not seem to be the case luckily enough for me. As it was clear to me that MoonStar felt some thing suspicious. As it was that I also noticed that he had his eyes squinted at me just now.
I was fairly certain he knew that it was in fact my kits. As I just did my best to try to keep my mind off of all of that of course. As it was that I just then began to start to hear the voice of KettleStar start to speak up.
"Riverclan is doing great too! The fish are cleaner than ever and the clan is happy, and expecting more warriors, and more kits as well!" He did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that he nodded his head towards a she cat that I noticed not too far away. I kind of was a little bit lost about the she cat. But I felt it best to just not ask questions about her just now, all at once.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to see KettleStar walk right past me as well. As it was that I then did in fact now notice that all of the leaders were staring right at me. As it was that I kind of shivered just as it was that it was in fact the case.
As I simply did my best to act as calm as I felt like I possibly could. As in the end, I did do just as the other leaders had in fact done. As it was that I made sure that all of the cats could in fact hear what I had to say.
"I didn't want to bring my full clan again... I didn't want to bring any more harm like last time... I hope that you can all respect that... I want peace, just like the rest of you..." I did in fact just seem to say, at that.
As it was that it was a little bit weak as to just what I had said. As I saw that all of the cats in the clearing did in fact have their eyes wide. As it was that they all did in fact just seem to stare right back at me, at that.
I continued to do my best to act as calm as I felt like I could. As I just seemed to go on ahead and blink my eyes a few times. As it was that I also then began to start to speak back to them, just as I had done before.
"Shadowclan has been doing a lot better now... We have come to light on some things... We are expecting to have some kits become apprentices very soon our selves..." I did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As it was that it was all I felt like I had to say, none the less, all at once.
As it felt a little bit strange for me to leave out on that note. Though I did in fact just seem to take a step back from the tall rock. As I let all of the other leaders know that I had said all that I had to say.
As it was that I had done as such a thing like that, all at once. I then did in fact just seem to also start to go right on ahead. And I began to see MoonStar go and speak up to all of the cats with a smile on his face.
"Let all of the cats speak for a little bit longer, and then the gathering shall be closed for the night..."
