Chapter 14: Not Today

I looked at my friend, as it was that he did in fact just seem to look right back at me. As it was that it kind of made me shiver a bit. As to the fact that we were both looking at each other.
As it was that I was not all too sure as to why we were being this way. As it was that I just seemed to stand there and stare for some time. As it was that in the end, I just seemed to speak to my friend quietly.
He continued to stare right back at me, at that. Just as it was that he had been doing before now. As he did in fact just listen as to what it was that I had to say to him in the very first place any ways, at that.
"Alright... Let's get this over with... I am tired of waiting..." I did in fact just seem to say to him. As I had a serious look on my face as well. Just as soon as I had said as to just what it was that I had in fact said.
Dust just seemed to continue to stare at me with his eyes wide. Before it was that he then did in fact just seem to finally blink. As it was that he also then did in fact nod right after all of that was said and done.
As it was that it had in fact been the case of course. He then did in fact begin to start to speak back to me. As I then did listen as to just what it was that he had to say, all at the exact same time as well.
"Alright... Like before... I will be right behind you..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As it was that I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I could.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to gulp just a little at first. Before it was that I then did in fact just seem to turn my head away from him. And I then did in fact begin to do just as it was that we had in fact planned.
As it was that I then did in fact begin to walk in to the old two leg nest. As it was that I was still a little bit worried and a little bit scared. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to speak to my self in a little bit of a whisper.
"It's fine... I've got this..." I did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As it was that I knew that it was not really all that true. As I knew that I was used to Dust being the one who did in fact lead for us.
I just felt like it was going to be some thing I'd have to get used to on this long journey. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to shake my head a little bit to my self. As it was that I then just seemed to calm my self down.
As things just seemed to be a little bit more calm itself. As it was that I did in fact just seem to walk in to the two leg place. As it was that I heard the drips of water falling down from the top of the ceiling.
It kind of made me shiver once again for what ever reason. As it was that I just did my best to keep my self calm, all at once. As I just also began to speak to my self, all at the exact same time too, at that.
"Alright... Remember what we are here to do..." I did in fact just seem to say to my self. As it was that I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I could do.
As it was that it then did in fact just seem to come back to me. As it was that I did in fact just seem to feel my belly grumble a bit. As it was that I then also began to start to go right on ahead, all at once.
And I began to start to hear the voice of Dust, all of the sudden. As I turned my head right on over to my friend. And I did listen as to just what it was that he had to say just now, all at the exact same time too.
"There are mouse all over this place... It might be best for us to split up, that way we can catch them faster before they all go and hide..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at once.
As it was that I could tell that he was in fact being serious with what he had said just now. Though it kind of made me shiver once again. As to the idea of the fact that the both of us should in fact split up.
I just simply did my best to keep my self as calm as I could. As I knew that it was in fact the best option for us how ever, all at once. As I then did in fact just seem to nod back to him, just as I had done before.
As it was that I saw that he was in fact still staring at me. As it was that I felt a whole lot more calm now. As I knew he was listening as to just what it was that I had to say back to him, all at the exact same time too.
"Alright... That's a good idea... I want to get out of here and hit the road as soon as we can..." I did in fact just seem to say back to him. As I had a serious look on my face, just as soon as I had said what I had said.
As it was that I saw that he did in fact just seem to be serious as well. As it was that he once again nodded right back on over to me. As it was that he also then began to turn his head away from me as well.
As it was that he had done as such a thing like that, all at once. I then did in fact just seem to do the same thing as he had. As it was that I sniffed the air to get the smell of the nearest mice, all of the sudden.
As it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that of course. That was when it was that I also then did in fact just seem to wake my self up. And I did in fact just seem to speak to my self quietly, like before.
"He is right... Let's just go..." I did in fact just seem to say, all of the sudden, all at once. As it was that I was not all too sure as to just who else it was that I was talking to just now. In what it was that I had in fact just said.
As it was that I kind of just shook my head just a little bit. As it was that I did in fact also just seem to calm my self down. As it was that I then did in fact start to walk in to one of the dark rooms that was in the hall way.
Once I was in side of there, all at the exact same time too. That was when it was that I saw that there were in fact mice all over. As it was that I stopped my self, making sure that I did in fact not alert them all.
As it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when it was that I then began to speak to my self. Such as it was that I had done a few moments ago.
"Alright... Just be smart with this..." I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I was not all too sure as to why I was in fact being this way. As I knew that I had done this several times for several different places.
As it was that I kind of just rolled my eyes a little bit to my self. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to sturdy my self up. As it was that I then did in fact get my self ready to jump right on to one of the near by mice.
As it was that I had done as such a thing like that as well. That was when it was that I did in fact just seem to run, and then jump. As it was that I did in fact easily catch the specific mouse that I had my eyes on.
As it was that the rest of them did in fact begin to squeal. As it was that they all began to start to scurry off, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I then felt pleased, and once again spoke to my self.
"I've still got it in me..." I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I was not all too sure as to what I was talking about. As it was that I knew that it was the reason why I had left home in the first place.
I knew that I had become a much better hunter since those old days. As it was that I just seemed to roll my eyes a little bit to my self. As it was that I then began to start to walk back towards the hall way.
Just as it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that. I heard a bit of a loud whisper come from the other room, at that. As I then did in fact begin to listen as to just what ever Dust had to say right now.
"Kevin! There is a dog in here! Be careful! There might be more!" He did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I just seemed to freeze up, and I began to gulp as to just what it was that he had in fact said.
As it was that it came back to me as a memory that I had when it was that I was little. As it was that it had been one of the most scary days in my life. As it was of course a memory with my friend Dust.
