Chapter 8: Walk With Me

I stood there in the early morning, as the first thing that I thought of. As I could already feel my heart pounding out of my chest. Was in fact the thought of my father, and hoping he had made it through the night.
I knew that my father was in fact a very strong cat. But even then, last night with all of the coughing. It was clear that he was in fact in bad condition, and on his last legs.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have thought on that. I then did in fact just seem to hear a rough cough from right beside me. As I stared right at my father, all at the exact same time as well.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to feel a bit better, all at once. As I saw that he was in fact still with me. As I then did in fact just seem to speak to my self quietly.
"Oh... Thank goodness you are still with me..." I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I did in fact just seem to calm my self down. Just as soon as it was that I had in fact said what it was that I had said to my self.
As it was that I continued to just stand there and stare at him. I then all of the sudden saw my father open his eyes, all at once. As he seemed to be a little bit confused as to just what it was that was going on.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to hear him speak back to me. As I stared at him with my eyes wide for just a few moments. Before I then began to listen as to just what ever it was that he had to say, all at the exact same time too.
"What is that Kevin?" He did in fact just seem to say. As it was that he seemed to be a little bit worried, all at the exact same time too. As I knew that he was always afraid some one was talking about him behind his back.
I kind of rolled my eyes at the thought of that, all at once. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to also start to go right on ahead. And I then spoke back to my father, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that, all at once. I then did in fact just seem to stand there and stare. As I knew he was listening as to just what it was that I had to say to him in the very first place as well.
"It's nothing... I am just glad that you are okay..." I did in fact just seem to say to him. As it was that I did in fact just seem to nod back to him. As I knew that it was in fact the complete truth as to what he had said.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stare back at him. He then just then did in fact just seem to laugh out loud. As it was that he also then began to start to cough, shortly after he had done as such a thing.
As it was that he then began to go right on ahead and speak back to me. As it was that I did in fact just seem to stand there and stare. As I then did in fact just listen as to what ever it was that he had to say back to me, all at the exact same time as well.
"Of course I am fine? Why wouldn't I be?" He did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As shortly after he had said as to just what he had said. He once again did in fact just seem to have another spasm of coughs.
Which did in fact just seem to get me even more worried. As I stared at my father with my eyes wide, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I knew that he was not going to be okay, such as he said he was.
As it was that I had just seemed to have stood there and stared. That was when it was that I then began to go right on ahead. And I then began to start to speak back to him, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had done as such a thing like that once again. I saw that he had his eyes right on to mine. As he then did listen as to just what it was that I had to say to him, all at the exact same time as well.
"Well... I don't think so... And I don't want to waste the rest of the time we have together stuck in this room..." I did in fact just say to him. As I squinted my eyes at my father, to make sure he knew that I was in fact being serious with what it was that I had in fact just said to him.
As it was tbat he had noticed me do as such a thing like that. He then did in fact just seem to blink his eyes back at me at first. As it was that he also then began to start to speak right back on over to me.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to keep my eyes on him. Not even baring to take me eyes off of him for a single second. As I then just listened as to what it was that he had to say to me just now.
"Well... What was it that you had in mind Kevin?" He did in fact just seem to say to me. As it was that he also then did in fact just seem to tilt his head right back on over to me.
It was clear that he was not all too sure as to what we should do. As it was clear that he had not really thought on any of that at all. Which made sense, as I knew that he was always fine with staying at this place.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared. I got my mind and my focus off of all of that other stuff. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to all of the sudden let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, at that.
As it was that shortly after it was that I had done as such a thing. I also then began to start to speak right back on over to Oak. As it was that I knew he was still listening as to just what it was that I had to say to him, all at the exact same time too.
"Well... First I want to get you some thing to eat... And some fresh water... I don't know how you can bare drinking in here... And then I want to maybe take you some where... Or just stroll around the area..." I did in fact just seem to say to him.
As it was that he did in fact just seem to stare at me with his eyes wide for just a few moments. As I saw that a smile did in fact just seem to come up on his face at first. As it was clear that he was in fact quite a bit excited to do what it was that I had said.
How ever, that was when the smile did in fact just seem to go away. As it was that he then looked down at the ground, all at once. As he had a worried look on his face, as he had done as such a thing like that.
Shortly after all of that, all of the sudden. I then did in fact begin to hear him start to speak back to me. As I did listen as to just what ever it was that he had to say, all at the exact same time as well.
"I'm... I'm not sure if I will be able to walk with you... I'm not strong enough Kevin..." He did in fact just seem to say to me, all at once. As it was that he did in fact just seem to have a serious look on his face.
I knew that my father was not one to ever say that he was weak, or any thing of that matter. So I had to assume that he was in fact being serious with just what he had said to me. As it was that I then began to start to get a bit worried my self.
How ever, I did in fact just seem to manage to keep my self as calm as I felt like I could. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to look behind me for a few moments. Before it was that I also then did in fact just seem to let out a bit of a rough sigh out loud.
As it was that I had done as such a thing like that. I then began to also start to speak back to Oak. As I knew he was in fact listening as to just what it was that I had to say to him, once again.
"Well... I will get some prey for us to go and eat... And then after that, we at least have to try... You can lean on me if needs be..." I did in fact just seem to say to him, all at once. As it was that I did in fact just seem to stand there and stare for some time.
As it was that I knew that Oak did in fact have a lot of friends that were around here. As I knew that Peasly had told me that they were all worried for him. As it was that I was sure that they all wanted to go and see him out side one last time.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared. That was when it was that I then did in fact just seem to calm my self down. As it was that I then began to start to hear my father speak back to me.
I quickly then did in fact just seem to turn my head right back on over to him, at that. As I did in fact just seem to stare right in to his eyes. As I then just listened as to what it was that he had to say to me, all at the exact same time as well.
"Well... That would be very nice... And we can start from there..." He did in fact just seem to say to me, all at once. As it was that I did in fact just seem to see that my father did in fact have a big smile on his face.
Just as it was that he had in fact just said what he had said. I then began to smile right back on over to him, as it was that I was about to turn my head from him. That was until it was that it then hit me that he was not coming with me.
As well as the fact that I felt like I did in fact not want to leave him behind what so ever. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to stand there and stare for some time. As it was that I also then began to speak right back on over to my father.
My father now seemed to be a little bit lost as to just what it was that was even going on. As he did in fact once again just stare right back at me. As he then listened as to just what it was that I had to say to him, all at the exact same time too.
"I don't want to leave you behind..." I did in fact just seem to say to him, all at the exact same time as well. As it was that I had a very serious, and a scared look on my face as soon as I had said what I had said.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared. My father then did in fact just seem to roll his eyes at me. As I knew that he was a smart cat, and he knew just what it was that I was getting at.
As he then all of the sudden began to start to go right on ahead and speak right back on over to me. As it was that I did in fact let out a soft sigh. As I then listened as to just what ever it was that he had to say, all at the exact same time too.
"Well... I'm not on the death bed right now son... I'll make sure not to die while you are gone..." He did in fact just seem to say. As he did in fact just seem to chuckle as to just what it was that he had said.
Before it was that he did in fact just seem to let out another loud cough, all at once. As it was that it did in fact just seem to make me wince at first. Before it was that I then did in fact just seem to also kind of feel a little bit better, all at once.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared all of the sudden. In the end, I did in fact just seem to start to calm my self down, all at once. As I then did in fact just seem to go right on ahead, and I then began to speak back to him.
My father did in fact just seem to still have his eyes right on me. As it was clear to me, thankfully enough. That he was listening as to just what it was that I had to say to him, all at the exact same time too.
"Alright... I will be back as soon as I can..." I did in fact just seem to say to my self, all at once. As it was that I did in fact just seem to start to wake my self up, all at once.
As it was that I then did in fact let out quite a bit of a rough sigh to my self as well. As it was that I for hopefully not the last time. Did in fact just seem to turn my head away from my father, all at once.
As it was that I then began to start to exit out of the old two leg nest. As it was that I did in fact just seem to calm my self down. As I then began to start to go on ahead and keep my self calm, as I did in fact head out side.
