Chapter 30: Do Better

We walked through the edge of the lands of the warrior clans. As it was that it did in fact feel like it was nice to be out for once in a while. As it was that I also felt like it was also nice for a change of scenery.
Not only that, but I was with the love of my life whilst doing as such. As it felt like nothing could be better about the day so far. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to stop my self all of the sudden.
I took a few moments to catch my breath, at that. As it was that I then saw SummerStar tilt her head at me quite a bit confused. As she also began to start to go and speak to me shortly after all of that.
"Are you okay NettleStar?" She did in fact just seem to say. As she had a very serious, and a worried look on her face as she said as such.
As it was that I felt like I was a little bit hazy right now. If I was in fact not going to lie to my self either. But I felt like I just needed to calm my self down, all of the sudden.
Just as it was that I had done as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when it was that I then nodded right back to SummerStar. And I then also began to start to speak back to her shortly after that.
"Yeah... I'm just... I think I need a drink of water..." I did in fact just seem to say to her. As it was that I then turned my head on over to the river that was in fact near by us.
As it was that I seemed to stand there and stare for some time. That was when it was that I then did in fact get my eyes on the water. As I knew that I was in fact fairly thirsty, and I felt like this could be my problem.
As it was that I then began to start to walk over to the water. As it was that I heard the paw steps of my mate, as she did in fact follow me. As it was that I felt calm, just as it was that I put my mouth up to the stream.
I then began to start to lap up all of the water, all at once. As it was clear to me that I was in fact insanely thirsty, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I also heard the voice of my mate as I was drinking up.
"How about I get you some prey... You don't look so well... It might have been a bad idea to come out here today..." She said to me, all at once. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to stop drinking the water.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to look at my mate. As my eyes were in fact wide as she had said what she had said. As it felt like it did in fact kind of hurt me as to just what she had said to me.
I felt like she had not meant it in that sort of way what so ever. As it was that I did in fact do my best to act as calm as I felt like I could. As I then just did in fact just seem to shake my head right back at her.
She seemed to be a bit confused as I had done as such a thing. As it was that I did my best to look for some sort of excuse, at that. As it was that I then did in fact begin to start to go and speak back to her.
"No... You are not in good condition to try to hunt right now... The kits are coming very soon..." I did in fact just seem to say to my mate. As it was that I had a very serious look on my face, after I had said that.
I did my best to act as calm and as normal as I felt like I could. As in the end, I then did in fact just seem to try to keep my self calm. As it was that I then did in fact begin to go and breathe in a very rough sigh.
Just as it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that as well. My mate then did in fact just seem to squint her eyes at me. As it was clear that she was not at all too happy with that response that I had just had.
As it was that I did in fact gulp as she had done as such. As it was that I also did in fact continue to stare at her for some more time. Before it was that she then did in fact begin to start to go and speak back to me.
"Yeah... Well that comes with being pregnant with our kits... It would help if you were by my side..." She did in fact just seem to say to me. As it was clear that she was fairly upset and that she was in fact frustrated with me, all at the exact same time too.
Just as it was that she had in fact said as to what she had said. As I did in fact just seem to be surprised with the tone of voice she had used. That was when it was that I then did in fact just seem to stare at her with my eyes wide.
As it was that I was a little bit worried and also a bit afraid. As it was that I did in fact try to act like I was fine. As it was that I eventually then did in fact just go and speak back to her, all at the exact same time too.
"I... I'm sorry... I really want to be by your side... I just... I don't know if I am ready to leave ShadowClan... I need a new deputy... I need a lot of things to go right for us..." I did in fact just seem to say to her.
As it was that I felt like I mostly meant as to just what I had said at the start of that all. As it was that I did in fact try to act as calm as I felt like I could in the mean time. As eventually, I then did in fact just seem to wake my self up quite a bit.
Just as it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that. I saw my mate look at me with a bit of a sad and a bit of a guilty look on her face. As it was that she also then began to start to dip her head low to the ground.
I kind of felt bad for that sort of thing, as I knew she didn't need stress at this moment. As I felt a bit guilty my self, all at once. As it was that she then did in fact begin to start to go and speak back to me, at that.
"I know... I under stand... I wish that I could leave my clan... I know what you are going through... I just love my clan, and can't bring my self to it..." She did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time as well.
As it was that she did in fact bring some thing I had never thought of. As to the fact that it was that she could easily leave her clan. As it was that I did in fact know that she had a good deputy to take over in her place.
How ever, I quickly did in fact just seem to stop thinking on that. As it was that she had the same thing that I kind of felt like I had. As I also felt like I should be the one to be doing this if I did in fact want this to work.
I did in fact just seem to stand there and stare for some more time. As it was that I did my best to act as calm as I felt like I could. As I just then did in fact go and start to speak back to her shortly after that.
"Well... I feel a little bit better now... Let's keep on walking... Maybe we can find some prey for us to share..." I did in fact just seem to say to her. As it was that I had a very serious look on my face as I had said that.
She just seemed to stare at me for just a few moments time. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to see her eyes grow wide, at that. Just as it was that I had in fact said as to just what I had said to her.
She seemed to stare at me for a fair bit of some time, at that. As it was that I was not all too sure as to just what was going on. As eventually, she then did in fact begin to start to go and speak right back to me.
"Isn't that against the warrior code? Should we really be doing that?" She said to me, all at once. As she had a very serious look on her face, after what it was that she had said.
As it was that I knew that she had a very good point, at that. As it was that I did my best to act as calm as I felt like I could. As eventually, I then did in fact begin to start to continue to go right on ahead.
And I then did in fact just seem to shake off all of those thoughts. As I did in fact also just seem to laugh out loud shortly after that. As it was that she tilted her head, a bit lost and confused as to what I found funny.
To say the truth, I knew that nothing about this was funny. As it was that I did in fact just seem to shiver at the thought of that all. As in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to go and speak back to her.
"Well... Us being mates is against the warrior code to... So I think it will be fine for now... We will just keep it a secret until then..." I did in fact just seem to say to her.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to nod back to her as well. Just as it was that I had in fact said as to just what it was that I had said to her. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to feel better about every thing.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to feel that kind of way. I then did in fact also just seem to start to continue to turn my head away. Though it didn't seem like she was ready to stop just yet. As I heard her continue to go on ahead and speak to me.
"Until what? Until you change things... I'm... I'm sorry NettleStar... We can't keep doing this..." She did in fact just seem to say. As it was that she had a bit of a sad look on her face. But she also did in fact just seem to look to be quite a bit frustrated.
As it was that I felt like I could not blame her for feeling that way. As it was that I did my best to act as calm as I felt like I could. As it was that this time, I then did in fact just seem to dip my head low to the ground.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to stand there for some more time. Just as it was that she had in fact said what she had said to me. As it was that I did in fact kind of feel a bit of some certain type of way, at that.
As it was that I just seemed to stand there and stare below me. That was when it was that I felt like I needed to give up on fighting. As it was that I then did in fact begin to start to continue to go right on ahead and speak right back to her.
"You are right... I think we should call it a day SummerStar... I have some things I need to think on... I have some decisions I need to make..." I did in fact just seem to say to her.
As it was that I felt like it was in fact a bit of a poor excuse. But I just kind of felt like I didn't want to have to worry about this. As it was that I didn't want to seem to change things, as I felt like I was fine with us living this sort of way, at that.
Which it was clear that she did in fact not like that what so ever. As I felt like I could not blame her for that being the case at all. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to hear her start to speak back to me in an upset voice.
"Fine... Next time you want to talk to me though... You come to my home... You come to my camp..." She said to me, all at once. As it was that she was in fact very angry with me, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of gulped as to just what it was that she had said. As I knew that it I was still the leader of ShadowClan. That I knew for a fact that I could not just walk right in to their home.
As it was that I did my best to act as calm as I felt like I could. As in the end, I then did in fact just seem to see her walk away. As I felt like I wanted to say some thing to her, to try to stop her from leaving.
But my mouth just seemed to stay shut, at that, all at once. As it was that I felt a bit stupid for being the way that I was in fact being right now. As in the end, I then turned my head away and spoke to my self quietly.
"Very well then... I guess it will be a bit then..." I did in fact just seem to say to my self. As I could feel my self fumbling over my own words. Even though I knew that I was only talking to my self right now.
I did my best to just try to act as calm as I felt like I could. As in the end, I then did in fact just seem to lift my own head up. As I did my best to try to keep my self strong.
As it was that I then began to start to go back to my own home. As it was a place that I could in fact truly say it was in fact my home. Which was the opposite of what I kind of felt like when I was in Thunderclan.
