Last period was all about club activities, since Ellie's not good at any kind of sport and too shy to join arts club, she volunteered as the school's basketball assistant manager. It's not really cool as it sounds. She had to wait for the boys to finish their practice then picked the balls, put them in the right places, wash the towels etc. She didn't complain though. Even though she wished she could be the assistant manager for the girl's team but it was already occupied. Tori was practicing on the girl's court and Amy was practicing cheer near the football field.

She stood in the corner, hiding half of her body behind the bleachers. She watched in fascination, she's kind of a basketball fan. After doing her job, she went home.

''Mom! I'm home" Ellie shouted as she entered her house.

''How's your day? Oh! Are you hungry? I made your favorite cupcakes'' Julie shouted back from the kitchen.

''Fine. And later. Dad's coming home this week right?"

''Yeah. And he said he got presents for you" Julie said with amusement in her tone "guess what?"

''Ugh! Barbie's" Ellie said flatly " Mom, as much as I love dad. I'm not five anymore. We need to tell him again"

''Yeah, right. Try telling your dad when he guilt trips you."

She blew her fringe hair as she sighed and walked up to her room. She dropped her heavy bags on her desk. After a quick shower, she did her homework for a bit and took a quick nap till her mom wakes her up for dinner.

At 6:30 she was studying, absorbing all she read with interest. That's till she heard loud footsteps then her door banged open.

''What-"

''Hello babe, you ready?"

Ellie was surprised "Amy, what are you doing here! You're welcomed always though'" she added formally. "In the middle of the night?"

''It's only six-ish"

"It's 6:34"

''Whatever. We told you we're going out tonight'''

''You mean to the underground? No. No, I have to study. You should too.''

''Ugh! Come on. Live a little. Remind me to search you a man to give some hot time"

''What? The weather's already hot so I don't need a man''

''You know what I mean" Amy gave her a pointed look. "Where did all your knowledge from all those novels gone"

Then, realizing what Amy meant. She blushed hard "oh" that kind of 'hot' "but I don't need it''

She need to remember to think things the dirtiest way possible when she socialize.

''Exactly, that's why you have us" she joked. Amy walked toward the closet and look through her cloths then she gasped loudly.

''Fu*k these dresses are hot! Where'd you get them? It wasn't here last time and why haven't wear them?"

''Mom bought them. I hid them but Mom force me to at least hang them"

''What a waste to be hidden, aren't you lonely" yep. She talked to the cloths "oh my god! I've wanted this dress since forever. But I couldn't find them. Your mom's damn quick. You're wearing this at the first party we'll be attending in the near future"

''Um...Amy...I'm not going anywhere''

''Right'' she says in boredom

''I mean it"

''Let's see. Oh! I've never seen you in a leather jacket. Let's dress you as a total bad arse chick tonight. Whoa! Your shoes" she cooed.

''Amy? Hello? I'm not going anywhere" she said as Amy was busy talking to her dresses.

''We'll see" she approached the window and threw her cloths out.

''Amy!" She squealed "Are you crazy! I don't wear them but I don't literally want to throw them"

''Stop being dramatic. Come on" she pulled her by the wrist to downstairs. Then, Ellie heard a sniffing sound. When they entered the living room, she saw Tori sobbing a bit.

'' Oh! There they are! We'll tell her on the way. We... we better go" Tori said with tears glistening her eyes.''

''Of course. She can stay with you until your family's back. Ellie, take good care of Tori, okay? And Tori I hope he gets well soon"

''Thank you, Julie" she sniffed as they led Ellie outside. Ellie was confused but saddened by her friend's weary tone. She definitely don't want them to be sad.

As soon as the front door's closed. Tori sighed and wiping the remains of tears."Well, that went well"

Ellie jaws dropped. Her friends high-fived.

''Girl! That's awesome! I gotta try that sometimes. You're definitely making it to Hollywood" Amy laughed as they went to pick up the cloths.

''What's going on? You were faking? I thought.."

''Keeep it down" they dragged her towards the car. Ellie was speechless. She couldn't contain her questions anymore.

"Whay did you tell mom?"

''My brother had a heart attack"

''What? You shouldn't lie about that! What if it really happened". Tori was quiet for a while.

''Nah. I never liked him anyway'' she shrugged.

''I know you fought alot but don't all siblings do? What if they find out?"

''I was kidding. Anyway, they won't. He's going to be miraculously better"

''You're crazy" Ellie shook her head.

''Yeah, yeah. Dress up"

''Here? " she squealed.

The girls scoffed.''Of course not. In a 5star hotel that's around 50 miles away''

'Yes here. It's not like we're getting a hard on seeing you naked" Amy added and they both laughed hard.

''Girls!" She gasped.

''Oh boy, wait till you get to the underground'' Amy bit her lip.

"What?"

"Nothing" Tori said quickly. "Soo..you watched UFC on T.V so why are you so hesitant? "

'' You said it's illegal with no rules"

''No. I said kind of'' Amy interjected "with no rules"

''Exactly"

''Same difference. Except no one's there to stop them fighting till the other one's beaten to pulp or knocked out"

''See! It's like dark version of UFC with fight to death isn't it?"

''Psh...I didn't say that''

''Same difference'' she used her own words against her.

''Hey look! We've reached the club" she looked quite relieved.

Q. How could a high school girl be that innocent?

= 1. I guess it's not a new thing for me since there are lots of high school girls who are still innocent like her from where I come from. And I created Ellie from those type of girls.

 2. Ellie doesn't read WATTPAD. Lol. Wattpad changed me XD I skipped kissing scene in books till 9th or 10th grade. When I was new to wattpad. After months, you know what happens;)
