Ellie slowly opened her eyes when she felt lazy kisses over her cheeks, chin, jaws, behind her ear and down her neck.
"Archer" she moaned sleepily, "Want to sleep. Not even morning yet"
He laughed "Happy birthday".
She blinked and realized two things, she lied on her tummy and Archer crouched over her from behind and how did he know about her birthday?
"Thank you and how did you know?" he shrugged making her sighed. She stretched as she yawned before she sat up. Archer chuckled, "You're like a cute little kitten" making her narrowed her eyes.
"I'm not little or cute"
He nods and pressed a kissed on her ear, which tells Ellie that he didn't really agree with her, that's when she felt something cold against her neck.
When he pulls back, Ellie studies the simple yet beautiful necklace with wide eyes, it even had a ring attached to it.
"Take care of it?" he asks her which makes Ellie guessed that it meant a lot to him.
"It's beautiful Archer, thank you. Promise I'll take care of it. Did you find the cookies I left you yesterday at your home?"
He nods, "Thanks for that. No one has-" he stopped his sentence but Ellie knows what he tries to say.
"Anytime. My parents suggested we throw a party but I'm not really into it so we'll probably have a small celebration for three of us at noon as I'll be celebrating with my friends at the party tonight. So...I was wondering...You know...the party and all and...maybe we could go together?" She knew that archer don't really like large crowds but she wants him to be there when she celebrate it with her friends. She really do.
"I can't"
"Oh" The disappointment was clear in her voice.
He paused before saying, "Something really important is coming up and coach says I have to be there"
"Oh I see"
"See you when you come home from it"
"Okay" she mumbles
"ELLIE, ARE YOU ready yet?" Tori asks over the phone, "We'll be there in like ten"
"Okay" Ellie says as she twirled the necklace around her neck.
Amy and Tori decided to buy her a gift, dress and shoes, for the party.
Ellie wasn't really excited even though her friends will be here in ten to go shopping for that gift because Archer can't come with her to the party. He'd gone missing after that morning, after apologizing.
The ride to the shop was filled with them discussing thing for the party like dresses, drinks (the school will probably serve them coke which was fine by Ellie), cute guys etc. They even swear that they'd find some cute guy for her as a birthday present that is if she was single. Well, she's not and Archer would bash the guy's face anyway.
"So, Archer's coming right?" Amy asks.
"Um...no. He's got something important to do"
"Hmm and you are still attending the right?"
"Sure"
"Can't belief the caveman is actually let his lamb free among the pack of wolves" Tori grins.
"I'm not a lamb that's why" Ellie sighed.
"Did he bully you again these days?" Amy raised her brow.
That question made Ellie frowned, she felt the need to defend him "No, he don't. In fact, we talked it out and seemed like never really bullied me."
