THE TEACHER WASN'T KIDDING when she said she'd wake them at 5am,because she did and the students weren't really happy about it,Their cranky mood being the proof. They washed up in the cold morning with cold water before they packed their belongings and went back to where the boys camped. They had breakfast by 6 which consist of tea and bread with butter and jam. They finally started moving by 7.

ELLIE felt awkward going alone as her partner left her with a glare. "ELLIE,wait up" Tori called, Amy walking beside her.

"Where are your partners? "

"We ask them if we could swap." She shrugged. Somehow Ellie was convinced that she stated rather than asked.

"Oh,why?"

"So that we could hunt dragons." Tori raised a brow.

"You believe in dragons too!" Ellie exclaimed. Tori sighed, gave up and muttered "Never mind." While Amy laughed. Only then she understood that she was being sarcastic and blushed.

"Here's the Brian's jacket. "

"Okay. Thank you guys for being so thoughtful." She thought of picking it up when he let her go but she didn't as she was dozing off. She was relieved when her friends told her that they had the jacket when she tried to get back to take it, "Did Archer give it to you?"

"No,why would he?" Tori asked.

"We came to retrieve you when the teacher announced that the girls should gather and be prepared to head back, in the direction where he took you off but we only found the jacket." Amy answered.

"But,you guys woke me up."

"Yeah. Seems like Archer took you near the other girls when he heard the announcement "

"He held you the whole time! You were even away for 5 hours and he didn't even let you go when we found you. He only did when you wiggled your way down his arms!" Tori all but shouted with excitement in her voice.

"That's not the point." Ellie decided to change the subject,that surprised her, "I can't believe Archer didn't even bother picking it up! It doesn't even belong to him."

"Whatever."Tori sighed,"We'll return it to Brian as soon as We see him."

The way down wasn't as tiring as the way up. It was quite refreshing. Some of them were even singing on the way again.

"The game's this Monday. You nervous, Tori?" Amy asked.

"Why would I be? We're winning this year."

"I bet you will" ELLIE smiled.

"What about you, Ellie. Nervous? You have a huge responsibility this season "

"Yeah, I am. But I need it." Real bad.

"OH Yeah. You're planning to join medical college after graduation right?"

"Yeah. I was always nervous at the thought of having the life of someone else in my hands. But she liked the thought of helping someone and helping them out of their misery. I have always been so nervous about it but I'm going to take advantage of this situation as I know it'll help me boost my confidence "

"WOW" her friends said in unison. She wasn't surprised that her friends were speechless as she had never mentioned how desperate she was,.how she had waited to be senior to be in this situation. They had never seen her so determined to have something other than her books. She want it bad. She's going to fight for it. And she's not going to let anyone held her back.
