Sora End

Before we begin for every ending I did my best to find random fanart of the boys in suits for prom. Please note all images were randomly found on Google and I do not own any of them.

Sora showed his usual chipper demeanor as he ushered you in his direction with a frantic wave. You swooned over seeing him in a formal outfit as he looked like most of the other boys, however underneath his black jacket was a bright red button down shirt completed with a black tie. You bashfully smiled at him and slipped in the empty seat beside him.

He grinned ear to ear. "You look stunning, {Y/N}. Did Kairi get a hold of you?"

You couldn't help yourself from giggling as you watched the girls take their seats. "How could you tell?" You asked sarcastically.

His eyes gazed towards the rest of the table, watching everyone interact. "Everyone was super excited to be here, and honestly the place is a lot more fancy than I thought. But..." You watched his bright eyes dart above his head. "The guests are freaking me out."

You followed his eyes with your own, seeing people peeking over the balcony from their rooms and watching your prom day almost like a zoo. "Yeahhh it's awkward isn't it? We'll have to do our best to ignore them."

Sora turned back to you. "Oh I'm great at changing the subject. So what did you order for a meal?"

You laughed at his dismissive attitude and chatted with him while waiting for dinner to be served. His smile simply brightened the table itself as his excited chatter had brought attention to your half of the table. Riku who sat beside him even seemed to be joining in and talking a lot more than usual, while Namine who sat on your other side also joined in. Sora's personality and presence just drew people nearby in, almost kidnapping them from everything else. You couldn't help but prop your chin into your hand and watch him mesmerized. When the food arrived, you ate almost too slowly as most of your attention was directed towards Sora.

He was the light in your life, the one who never failed to make you smile. He was the first in the group to introduce himself and force your walls down. He did things that made him uncomfortable for your sake. He did everything in his power to grant you a smile.

You fell in love.

Deep down however, you were bummed. He never asked you officially to prom. You could only assume he didn't reciprocate your feelings as he never asked that one simple question. With a timid sigh you finished the last of your meal, feeling yourself go quiet as the conversation blew by. You could feel Sora's gaze rest on you as you did your best to casually sip on water and not bring attention to yourself. From the corner of your eye he dabbed his face with a napkin before slipping a hand under the table to rest on your thigh.

You could only choke on your water as he leaned towards you and brought his voice down low. "Come with me."

Spluttering the water he took your hand and guided you towards opened double doors leading outside. They were the back doors, ones that led you straight to one of the many ponds scattered about the property. As your attention grew to the glistening water under the sunlight, your coughs had come to a halt.

Standing just a few feet away from the edge, Sora turned his body towards you. He reached a hand and delicately wiped excess water from your face and caused you to blush. He left his hand there resting on your cheek as he held your face warmly.

"I want to apologize." He said somberly as his eyes dulled with resentment. "I could never bring the courage to ask you to prom officially. I had a lot of competition."

"What comp-"

He shook his head and interrupted you. "So before anyone else does, I have to ask. Will you be my date for prom?"

Your eyes quivered with excitement as you brought your hands to your chest. "Why didn't you ask sooner...?"

He frowned. "To be honest I was afraid you didn't feel the same. You had so much going on that I didn't think you'd want a relationship on top of it. But watching your light shine brighter than ever I have fallen in love all over again."

You raised an eyebrow and smirked, placing your hands on your hips with a playful attitude. "So what are you asking me to prom or asking me out?"

Sora sheepishly smiled and shrugged. "Both?"

The two of you laughed a heartfelt laugh that slowly had dissipated into silence with only the sound of the fountain remaining. Your gaze met his and you could only feel that time had frozen and isolated you as nothing else mattered. Bashfully you felt the heat rise in your cheeks as his eyes softened at the sight of you, and he once again raised an arm to cup your cheek in his hand. You could only feel yourself gravitate towards him as some unknown force compelled you to reach out.

Sora slipped an arm around your waist and pulled you close to him and your bodies pressed up against one another. He looked at you lovingly in the eyes and paused as if he was giving you a chance to back away if needed.

But you didn't want to.

Your arms reached up to rest on his shoulders as if signaling him your consent. Without wasting anymore time Sora finally leaned forward and pressed his lips to yours as you embraced the kiss and closed your eyes, sinking deeper and deeper into his arms. Your knees felt like jello with the simplicity of the kiss, a mixture of excitement and calm overwhelmed your body. You felt at home there impelled against his body. His grip tightened around your waist ensuring you were as close as possible, and as if he almost refused to let go.

After some time your lips finally broke apart, but he ensured to keep a tight hold of you. Your face was hot with embarrassment as you tried to hide in his chest. However he quickly poked your sides in a quick tickle as you instinctly jerked your head up with laughter.

"So is that a yes?"

You burst out laughing once more and playfully pushed him away. "I would love to not only be your date, but be your girlfriend too."

With a beaming grin Sora held his arm out towards you for you to take. "Then let's go inside and share the big news."

You gave him a quick curtsey, slipping your arm to link with him. Before leaving the sight of the pond, Sora gave you a quick kiss on the cheek.

"I love you, {Y/N}. I can't wait to have our happy ending."
