Sal and Travis were Sitting down infront of Sal's Desk, Setting up for the podcast.
" Hey, do you mind if I take off my mask? I've gotten comfortable enough with you to... " Sal sort of paused as if he was rephrasing and rearranging words that would finish his sentence.
" ...To show you my face under this prosthetic, I guess. " Sal would finish, Looking at Travis intently waiting for him to answer.
" Uhm... I... Guess? Why not? " Travis would be texting his father, giving him updates on his "tutoring" to potentially calm him down once he got home.
When Travis looked back at Sal, His face was completely... Destroyed; Deformed maybe.
Sal's Face had cuts that went across, and an eye that looked in a slightly different direction due to Sal not putting it in right.
A face is considered a tragic tale, a mistake, the result of god punishing you for something.
But Travis just froze, admiring it. Fighting the urge to just grab at Sal's jaw to get a better look at every cut.
" Uhh, hey? Earth to Travis? " Sal was flustered, tearing up, even.
Sal was embarrassed to be looked at for so long, even longer than when Larry saw his face for the first time.
Yet Sal was used to Travis' stares, Even if they lasted for hours, or minutes. Sal got time to get used to being stared at for a while.
" I look disgusting, don't I? " Sal would try to deny it, looking down at his mask on his desk.
" No, you... You look uhh... Pretty? " Travis would try to form some sort of compliment while still studying Sal's face.
" Pretty weird? " Sal would respond, still denying that his face even deserved compliments.
" No, pretty. " Travis strongly thought differently, " Just accept that I like you! "
Sal would immediately hide his face out of embarrassment.
" Y- your face, I mean. " Travis would avert his gaze quickly, looking at the desk with his face glowing from how much he was blushing.
" No, no. I guess I could say I... Like you too, Trav. " Sal's hand would slide down Sal's face, glancing at Travis beside him.
