It was like the air returned to his lungs after having his head held underwater for minutes. Theo opened his eyes, sitting up with a gasp as he did so. There was a pool of black blood vomit around him, it smelled disgusting.

There was something in the air, a purple mist that was easing his pain and loosening the fog in his mind. Scott was crawling towards the vault door, not strong enough to stand up properly yet. Isaac was coughing and Malia was waving her hands in front of her eyes, smiling at the ability to see again.

"Stiles." Scott coughed out and Theo whipped his head around to see a distraught looking Stiles standing at the door. He quickly wrapped his arms around Scott, envolping him in a hug.

"I thought you guys were dead." Stiles' said, trying to laugh through the shakiness in his voice. He ran over to Theo who was closest to the door at this point, pulling him up and into a hug. Theo wasn't a hug guy but he wasn't about to tell Stiles to fuck off.

"We're fine Stiles. Don't worry." Theo said, pulling away after a few seconds. "Is Liam alright?"

"Liam? I have no idea dude. I haven't been outside yet but I assume he's playing lacrosse with his friends." Stiles responded quickly, looking to the side as Scott helped Isaac to his feet. He dropped his voice to a whisper. "Oh my God, did they stay together the whole time?"

"Most of it." Theo grinned, whispering as well. "Hopefully they won't be as awkward now."

"We can pray but those two losers are as awkward as they come." Stiles gave a smile before turning to go get Malia. A part of Theo felt bitter as he watched his childhood friends, his brothers practically, stand and talk to their partners. Their mates. He was standing alone, dusting the dried and wet blood off of his hoodie.

"Malia I'm sorry." Stiles said as Malia walked out of the room, refusing to look at anyone. Theo was confused for a few seconds before seeing the paper in her hand. The paper reading Malia Hale. "Where are you going?"

There was no response as she left, stalking right out the doors. The guilt was overwhelming as Stiles walked after her, not saying a word except the occansional curse word to himself. To Theo, it felt like he had wished this upon them, as if he had cursed them for being a happy couple.

"Let's get the fuck out of here." Isaac cursed, wiping his face again. He had some black stains around his mouth as well.

"Do you think they're okay?" Liam asked nervously. He was sitting in the backseat of Derek's car as Deaton sat in the other one.

"We don't know. The Sheriff says he hasn't seen them yet." Deaton responded, his voice trying to stay calm and soothing. "Theo will be okay Liam."

"You just said we don't know if he will be!" It took Liam a second to realize that Deaton had only brought up Theo, "The others are also in danger too!"

"Yeah but I can tell you're especially worried about Theo." Derek looked over to Deaton as he spoke, a shocked look on his face. It wasn't super obvious considering Derek didn't seem to have too many emotions but Liam thought he looked a little shocked and confused.

"Are they...?" Derek trailed off, glancing at Liam through the mirror, "You know... like that?" This irritated Liam immensely. He hated not knowing and being talked about like he wasn't there.

"It's highly possible but I don't think either of them know it." Deaton nodded, seeming to know exactly what Derek was talking about. "I sensed it when I helped Theo after he'd been poisoned and attacked."

"Theo though? Dude's a player." Derek clicked his tongue, "It's crazy but I guess it makes sense-"

"Oh My God!" Liam cursed, feeling his anger rise. "Please tell me what the fuck you guys are talking about because I am so confused!"
