Alexandra's P.O.V

"You're back! I missed you so much!" Sophia squealed crashing into my arms. I giggled loudly hugging her back.

"I missed you too! How've you been?" I smiled kissing her  cheek. "I've been great. Spending time with Li whilst I still can." She grinned happily. "I've seen that. You guys are all over Twitter and Instagram!" I exclaimed, clutching my chest playfully. Sophia laughed lightly. "Where's my little flower?" She asked looking around for Scarlett.

"Harry's changing her diaper. They'll be down soon." I smiled, and sure enough they were. Harry had Scarlett standing on his own feet, holding her tiny hands. She was a shrieking mess.

"What are you doing to her?" I laughed crouching down to be at level with Scarlett. Harry chuckled softly.

"Daddy's showing Scarlett how to walk, isn't that right baby girl?" He cooed, lifting her up to kiss her hair.

"Well isn't this a precious sight?" Sophia took the moment to speak. I turned around to look at her, blushing softly.

"Thank you." I mumbled shyly.

Sophia's P.O.V

I watched as they both played with Scarlett, making the baby girl scream in delight. It was very heart warming to see them both close again. Wait, let me rephrase myself; it's good to see Harry happy again. There we go, that's better.

Liam entered the flat, hence the front door was opened and closed and I felt arms wrap around my waist from behind.

"Hey you." Liam grinned kissing my temple. "Hi bubby. What were you doing?" I asked leaning back into his chest.

"I was talking to Zayn." He mumbled, squeezing my hips. "Oh that's nice. How is he?" I smiled keeping my eyes focused on Alex, Harry and Scarlett.

"He's been good. Spending time with Pez and his family. He says he misses us." He gushed. I grinned at his excitement.

"That's good to hear babe." I answered intertwining our fingers together. "Yeah. It was good talking to him, just like old times." Liam sighed into my hair.

"Hiya Li!" Harry exclaimed coming over to greet Liam, with Scarlett in his arms. Trying to pull his hair if might I add.

"Hi mate. How was Cheshire?" He beamed, taking Scarlett out of her father's arms and into his own.

"Fantastic! We had a blast, Scarlett got to spend time with her grandparents, and I obviously got to see all of them. I missed them dearly." Harry's excited voice rang throughout the big living room.

"That's great to hear bud!" Liam and I cheered in unison. "That was freaky," Alex popped up next to Harry.

"Darling! How are you? I missed you!" Liam babbled, pulling Alex into his arms. I giggled at her shocked face.

"I'm good babe, how've you been? I missed you too!" She grinned kissing his forehead gently.

She's so freaking kind-hearted.

"I'm glad love. Did you have fun on the trip as well?" Liam smiled wrapping Alex and I in his arms.

"Yeah. It's always amazing to see Harry's family." She blushed looking over at said lad.

"Who's hungry?" Harry asked after we were sitting down on either sofas.

"Me!" We all cheered. He rolled his eyes playfully. "Of course you lot are. What kind of question is that. Care to help Daddy with lunch, kitty?" Harry cooed mainly at Scarlett. She kicked her chubby legs happily.

"Yeah, let's take my girl into the kitchen with Daddy so you can help him ." He chatted, walking towards the huge kitchen they had with Scarlett giggling her little heart away.

"So Alex, what happened during your visit to Cheshire?" Liam asked after Harry was out of eye sight.

"Not much. We obviously spent time with his parents. Went out on Mother's Day. That's about it, really." She grinned.

"Did Harry say anything to you?" He worried, Alex looked down at her lap at that. I immediately knew something had went wrong.

"The same day we arrived, everything was going great. That is until I asked him to go with me to get food so Anne didn't have to cook. He asked if I was gonna pay the food because he didn't plan on paying for my things. I know it's kind of stupid, but it still hurt. The second time was in the car. Anne  told me to leave the baby with her and Robin whilst we went to get the food; I was kind of hesitate. I wasn't going to just leave her there without Anne being okay with her. But anyways, when we got inside the car, he snapped. Harry told me that I was pathetic and annoying and that I didn't have to be a bitch to his Mum." Alex spoke whilst wiping under her eyes.

"What else?" I mumbled. "At the restaurant he asked me if I had gotten the order, or if he was going to be wasting his time, because he had better things to be doing than being in a restaurant with me. And that right there was my breaking point. I began to cry, I couldn't hold it in anymore." She sniffled before continuing.

"He apologized and whatnot. After that incident, nothing else happened. On Mother's Day, he was very cheery. He told me I looked beautiful and wished me a happy day." She smiled shyly.

"I'm sorry you had to go through that." Liam sighed getting up to go and hug her. I followed soon after.

"He's a little bitch for not seeing what he's missing out on darling. You're truly amazing." I whispered, kissing her cheek. "Thanks Soph," Alex smiled softly.

"Food's ready!"

Harry's P.O.V

"Food's great Haz," Liam said taking another bite of his pasta. I grinned proudly. "Thanks Li, Scarlett here helped me." I chuckled tickling my daughter's little tiny feet.

"Did she, now? And what did she help you with?" He cooed, playing along as he grinned at the baby. "She was just being her cute self. Isn't that right, Kitty?" I grinned kissing her nose. She giggled in delight.

"Dada!" Scarlett babbled happily, shoving two chubby fingers into her mouth. "Daddy loves you, babe." I cooed quietly.

*two weeks later*

Things have been great so far. Alexandra and I are conversing more and spending time as a family.

"Aren't you one adorable little girl?" Ed grinned playing with Scarlett's fingers.

"Can you say hi to uncle Ed, Kitty?" I chuckled. In reply, she drooled on my shoulder.

"Close enough," I laughed. "Yeah," Ed grinned. "How are you mate?" He smiled. "I'm good, yourself?" I spoke as we both walked into the restaurant.

"That's good to hear. I've been good as well, working hard lately." He chuckled, I grinned at him.

"Where's Alex by the way?" He asked as a waiter showed us to our booth.

"She stayed at the flat. Some of her friends were coming over. I wanted to have a Daddy-daughter day with my girl, so I brought her out with me." I grinned settling Scar's baby bag besides me and kissing her temple.

"It's good to see you happy again mate." Ed smiled warmly. "Yeah, it feels amazing to bond with her. You don't know how much I regret not being there for her since she was smaller." I muttered sadly. I held Scarlett tighter to my chest, not wanting to let her go.

"Don't think about that Haz. What's important now is that your doing your job as a father. And let me tell you: you're doing hell of a good job. That little girl adores you. I mean look at her!" He promised, pointing at Scarlett who was trying to suck my fingers.

I laughed softly at my baby girl's curiosity. She's my entire universe.

"Daddy loves you so much, Scarlett Anne "
